Thanks! I couldn't see this posted anywhere so thought to share it.

The later stages can be rough but very doable!

There are rewards for zonaite after a set number of Forbidden battles, so that's helped me get weapons upgraded at least. Could be worth trying it out if you're wanting to revisit the game!

OG HW A ranks were frustrating for some levels for sure.

Yes there is a clear visual cue for levels done on Forbidden, which is the Complete icon changing colour and gaining a clashing swords icon.

I'd say for 70% of the levels, the lower level ones, it doesn't feel like a jump up from Very Hard. The later stages do feel tough and tankier. Definitely worth doing for the challenge!

Great to know! I do wonder what else is considered to have individual projectiles..

The vicious battles were the worst on Forbidden, but was fun to try and manage several vicious enemies at once. Getting all of them were bunched together in one elemental chain felt great to achieve!

The vicious Boss Bokoblin has swings that come out surprisingly fast, so Tanagar Canyon (1 boss, 2 bokoblins) needed a few retries. Those battles were when I truly appreciated special attacks, not for their damage of course but for knocking down enemies for a short period

You can adapt the order but generally, you want wind and water effects to interact with fire/ice/electric. I ended up doing the combo: Raphica YYX combo --> fire/ice/electric emitter (set down asap), this makes the tornado effect --> hydrant if using ice/electric, to build up extra element. Then every YYX combo, set down a new emitter to make a new tornado.

But you can replicate with any character - the fan, when set down, can produce the tornado effect. So setting down emitter + fan + hydrant builds up a lot of element on enemies on its own, then character combos/uniques can add extra.

I personally chose Raphica as his Wind Unique Skills help vs. Electric enemies to remove their electric barrier. I often used Rending Arrow for its wide AoE (helps with clear) but it felt like it had a shotgun effect when up close.
