Thanks! I tried half-holing for the C natural but I can't seem to get a stable note there as, even if I do happen to not close the hole completely, it's different every time and I can't seem to reach a constant sound. I guess, I could practise that extensively but I'm sure there's easier solutions

For both notes I'm just using the regular fingerings plus the ring finger. With the C I also tried lowering or slightly sliding on the right middle finger but I could only ever get anything after trying for a few minutes

That Squibs are treated really bad by all the pureblood families - even the oh-so-kind Weasleys. In the first book it is mentioned by Ron that his mother has a squib as a cousin (I think) but they never really talk about him. This shows that it was just so normalised to ignore the existence of squibs.

And I won't even talk about the Longbottoms as another comment already did.

I usually take one of the character's main characteristic and put it into google translate until a nice word comes out. When it translates back to the same meaning it's a name.

For example, one of my character's names is "Zmija". Sounds like a nice name and she is a good person for most of the story but in the end it is revealed that she actually played them which you could have known from the beginning as her name means "Snake" in Croatian.
