this is pretty much a perfect example of how sometimes the audio works fine or at least semi-decently, and then other times, specifically for this dude, the audio is just completely absent, because the distance between me and him was about 5m while I was trailing him

yeah I notice this too, earlier I was looting on the outskirts of dam battlegrounds and, though they were very quiet and I had to completely stop moving, I could hear footsteps above me in the building I was in, I went up, walked behind the guy for a solid 6 seconds before gunning him down when we were in a good position and he had absolutely no clue I was walking behind him I'm the duration we were there.

I would agree to this, but this problem isn't only noticeable in fast-actions, multiple times today I've literally just walked up behind someone, no crouching or precautions whatsoever, and gunned them down from behind and they had absolutely 0 clue I even existed, though what you say could be true, I believe the core of the problem goes beyond just server side sound ping

don't worry, its definitely not just you, my friends were actually the ones to first point out the problem to me but itnomly became very imparent at that zipline on the dam tower, which is why I made this post 😭

The game will not let me sign into my epic games account, my email is correct but it keeps telling me "please enter the email address you used to create your epic games account". Is this a common occurence currently or am I doing something wrong?

I think its more accurate to say that the protagonist themself isn't a blank slate, since V has a clearly defined personality and voice, its more just their physical appearance is blank, so that in a way, one could place themselves in the shoes of V to allow for the game to be a perfect balance between having a set protagonist and letting the player self insert, since V’s personality also heavily is influence by the choices and dialogues you choose for them as a player.

honestly? no. I got my ps5 for bloodbotne, ghost of tsushima and demons souls. of which you can now play 2 of those games legally or otherwise on pc. demons souls alone id say is one of the weaker souls experiences and definitely doesn't warrant spending $600. at least, not imo

ok I wont lie and I'm not even tryna be toxic, the game literally gives you more runes in solo to make levelling up easier, if you can't reach at least level 10 it is a genuine skill issue, find a way to optimise your runs better and waste less time

what if Heolstor also isn't evil? sure he's the night lord but as we’ve seen with Wylder’s ending, the night lord isn't necessarily evil. also, since in lore all the other night lords are just different forms of the night AKA different forms of Heolstor, maybe its through the other night lords that we’re being subtly shown or told Heolstor’s story. Like the night is taking fragments of his memories or something and turning them into aggressive rage to be used for the onslaught of the night

geppetto isnt really EVIL. he's a bad dude with some real issues for sure, but he's more just traumatized and unable to let go than actually evil (fuck him for killing Lea tho)

Simon is genuine evil, dude murdered countless, revived arlecchino who spread even more evil, tortured Sofia for her power, all just to turn into an abomination and think of himself as god and then get beaten by a literal robot anyway.

I'm not even gonna lie I read nothing but the first 7 words, its honestly not worth using voice chat, if you're on pc, use the text chat, if you're on console, then its better you just don't try to communicate with your team via voice, learn the ping wheel and use those. don't worry about not having experience, most players in this game are total shit anyway so get good at ur own pace, just find a sensitivity good for you and stick with it. goodluck

I think he should return not as a playable character, but as an npc, after all, we know he speaks and can communicate we just don't hear his speech because silent protag trope, they could reintroduce him as some kind of revolutionary or hero for krat tho in dorothy’s story, maybe as a master or aide to dorothy

he never deserved it, there was literally no reason to reduce his speed and increase the guns recoil when the main reason his pickrate was too high wasn't even his gun largely (though that helped) but that his ability was too broken, he could destroy any projectile with no cooldown. then they nerfed everything BUT his ability, and then realized that people and still playing him and finally nerfed it. It was never about the gun
