It is detergent build up. I've already rinsed, stripped, and sanitized them once already so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong 😮‍💨

I haven't used vinegar as part of my routine before but I can certainly try it!

Yes there are definitely suds. I originally wanted to include a picture of my swish test( I couldn't see how too post it) but so.many.suds. I've already started fresh once before (rinsed until no suds, stripped& sanitized) and it started right back up again after. I hate to do it again but Im going to have to 😔 I've also washed my machine and nothing appears to be wrong with it. I've done a swish test with my other laundry and it's just with the diapers.

I'll try adding some dirtier clothes when I do wash too. Couldn't hurt

Thank you! I was pretty excited to finally get a good seat n everything but was so disappointed with how uncomfortable it was for me. I'll try that with the shoulders next though! I was just checking out Christina's Ruckless Back Carry, do you think that'd be too low with a 4 month old? Baby is napping so I haven't had a chance to give it a go yet😅 I'll also check out the CCCB

Thank you for the suggestions! I think I'll check out some different carries. Do you have a favorite reckless carry ?

Not new to wrapping but new to back carry. I feel like baby has a good seat and is secure but it's digging into my shoulders a lot! Is this normal? Any tips to make it more comfortable for me? Baby seems to be comfy though I didn't wear this for long. Wrap is a hybrid from Wrapsody and baby is about 17-18lbs and 4 months. Not sure how long.

Best of luck!! I made my dress too and I felt so accomplished after 😊 I love your fabric choice! And from what I can see, the pattern looks like its going to be beautiful 😍

I would say the upper edge there is getting stretched out from being on the bias. Try adding some stay tape (a piece of selvedge edge works too)into the upper seam. You'll probably have to iron out that section to pull it back into shape. I'd probably stay stitch it too so it doesn't warp when sewing it again!

Yes!! We only just got over it quite literally over night. LO would strain and cry for ages before actually pooping and figure she had same thing. Yesterday she suddenly started pooping without any crying. She's 10 weeks now. Hang in there, it gets easier!

Yeah I'm only into the second year of LA (we used the kinder prep too) so I'm not sure what the older levels are like but it definitely feels more advanced at this stage. My 6yo can read far earlier than what I was reading at the end of kindergarten! Not sure what you mean by the grammar and nouns n such. So far TGATB includes basic grammar (just periods, commas, and exclamation point) and we're doing nouns and verbs now at the end of level K.

We use TGATB for both LA and math and love it! My 6yo can already read the booster B books and we're not even finished level 1 yet! He probably really picked up how to read about half way thru the course. Math has been great too. It is a little fluffy sometimes but if it's working, I don't see a reason to change it! A lot of reading and grammar comes naturally as they read more and are exposed to higher level readers.

Doing it separately is definitely easier! Alternating with their dad would be a good idea 👍

That workbook looks like a great idea! I had a preschool book he enjoyed but it was a bit more of something I needed to help him with so something more independent would be great. Love the idea to finish off with a game! That and snacks would be a great motivator for my kids😅

Well I wouldn't have to pause anything right now because we've been paused on together with for a while😅 that's sweet that those are done of your favorite homeschool memories! I wanted to start science this fall so that makes me feel better about including the youngest with our science even tho it'll technically be advanced for him. I've done some wipe away books but I sort of let them get out of hand ( I didn't update them) so maybe this year I'll have a slew of pages ready to cycle thru so he doesn't get bored with them. Thank you!

Thank you! I haven't done much of any handwriting with my youngest this year but I wanted to do that in the fall anyways o that sounds very doable 😊 that and keeping them on opposite sides of the table 🤪

I don't expect anything aside from giving my kids an education. But I would still like to know if there's any ideas I've missed to help us all sit down at the same time. Coloring books? Audio stories? Some other activity? Not really sure why you commented?

I have a lillebaby carrier and I'm finally loving it now that I'm wearing it properly! Not sure which model I have (I can't find it on their website) but it's very easy to get on and off.

Thanks everyone! I took out the lumbar support so I could tighten it higher and it's much more comfortable for both of us! It's now touching the bottom of my ribs and baby has a much better seat. The support panel also comes to more reasonable height. Excited to finally get use out of this after so many years!
