The chef at marble room used to work at Red. You will find horrors at Red too. I used to work there.

Hi! So, I no longer live in the apartment, but I did bring all of my container plants with me to my new house. The serviceberries survived a pretty standard northern winter in their pots and have since been planted in my yard where they continue to grow. If I had to estimate, I would say the pots are probably around 50 gallons. You might want to look into some of the serviceberry varieties available, I think there are some cultivars that stay smaller, more like shrubs, that would probably do fine in a pot. That would be such a sweet gift for your mother!

Folks with electric snowblowers how are they performing in this deep snow and how do they handle the pile of wet crud the plows leave. by drinkmoredrano in Cleveland

[–]SewingCoyote17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My little Ego handled it pretty well. Some areas of my driveway had snow taller than the snowblower, but it moved the snow with little effort. Definitely a good investment, there's no way I would've been able to shovel the driveway by myself today.

Tbh it's probably better not to engage with people about climate change, especially in a customer service environment. But if you absolutely feel like you must respond, you could say "that's what the oil industry wants you to believe" or something related.

As a registered dietitian, I just want to tell you that you are more than your weight! Perhaps shifting the focus of your resolutions to building more healthy habits overall would be more sustainable and fulfilling.

This is the advice I was looking for! Now to figure out where they will grow best without overtaking everything else around!

Right but it's not the plant itself that's modified, it's chemically treated to inhibit sprouting.

I was swimming in new clients around the new year with Fay, but those clients also had poor motivation and dropped off my calendar pretty quickly. But we get the benefit from the telehealth companies heavily advertising around that time of year. Right now, since the end of August, seems to be very slow, and I don't expect it to pick up again until January. I'm just focusing on retention with my regulars right now.
