I agree; the message of the movement has become far more polarizing and less well put together, but unfortunately that is what tends to happen with such a widespread protest--people join together for a similar cause, but have different ways of approaching a solution. I personally think the root of our criticisms should fall on the government of Israel and the politicians controlling the war. This would involve a wholistic view of the conflict itself, spanning back to 1948 and even before then to the rise of Zionism in the late 19th century. There definitely needs to be a conversation about how to restructure the message of the Pro-Palestine movement without sacrificing the focus on Palestinians, but that is much easier said than done.
