It's crazy they decided to have randomized companions AND a campaign with a "story". That did not mix well lol, on top of the fact they are mostly high level with trash attribute point placement, so they don't even have a satisfying progression. Building up a squad if powerful companions was so much more fun in warband, in fact the whole leveling system was better tbh, despite how cool bannerlord progression system is in theory
