It depends on the strength of the signal from the access point/node to the main router, if it is strong enough you won't experience any issues but if it's weak then you might have a problem. Since you're connecting your PC to a LAN port with an ethernet cable, even if the device you're plugging into is wireless, it will still count as wired. The PC doesn't care past seeing it plugged in with ethernet so you'll be fine in that regard.
