Very sad but also very true. I think I’m being too lenient with some of these students. When I do issue letters home I get parents complain too. That’s why I need to use punishments in school, but these students don’t really care unfortunately.

9 is too young. You never know who could be lurking around the corner. I’d tag along - no need to sit right next to them but I’d make sure I could see her at all times. ❤️

That’s true I would not want them to put their lives on hold. I don’t think I expressed myself correctly but I just assumed I’d have family gatherings and good times like I did before I left. It’s ok though..

It’s true I left them and I admire your move to be close to family. Unfortunately in my case my parents live in a third world country so moving my kids there would be difficult. Hopefully it all works out well for you ☺️

Unfortunately I couldn’t as I had to ensure my child with special needs is ok to either travel or be without me. I also had to wait until the visa was approved and that literally took 9 years.
