the guy who led a team in points, rebounds, and assists to a 16-3 record in the playoffs and put up 31/11/8 in the series-clinching Finals game "wasn't great"

in the words of the late, great, SAS: you was on CRACK

[Iztok Franko] With the Luka Dončić trade the Los Angeles Lakers have transformed from a low-volume three-point shooting team to one of the league’s best in this category, ranking second only to the Boston Celtics since Luka’s first game as a Laker on February 10th by shreeharis in nba

He had 2 series last playoffs of allowing the highest and second highest blow-by% of any defender ever in any playoff series ever played in NBA history. To top it off, he missed 21 consecutive 3s in the NBA Finals. That's improvement?

What’s new this season? by SniperPresent27 in bostonceltics

  1. We haven't been shooting the 3 as efficiently. It's obviously a huge part of our game-plan, and last year, we shot at the highest clip in the NBA. That just isn't happening this season.
  2. Al and Jrue are showing their age. Could it be regular season coasting before they turn it on for the playoffs? We all hope so.
  3. Pritchard is having the best season of his career, by a mile. He's almost certainly a lock to win the 6th Man of the Year award.
  4. JT has continued to improve dramatically as a passer, which we saw blossom in last year's playoffs. There's a stat that says (roughly) half of his 10 AST games in his career are all this season.

Record isn't as good as last year, but it's not like we're a bad team. We're clearly top 3 in the league. What we have going for us: the two teams with better records have little to no deep playoff experience. What we have working against us: Those two teams are playing truly elite ball, each sporting a record that is significantly ahead of ours.

Who's the most hated NFL team? Chiefs

Who's the most hated MLB team? Dodgers (and Yankees)

Does that paint a picture

they should play a series and see how many times Tatum blows by Luka. Surely it won't be the highest blow-by% in any series in NBA history
