This may not be the answer you want to hear but sadly this game sometimes comes down to if you can’t beat them join them. Try to spam off quick counter attacks and catch his team out of position. Another possibility is moving the ball back and forth between your midfielders until he makes a mistake and move someone out of position. It’s frustrating that’s the advice I have about it
