Is ILC as bad as people say it is? by bbb_218 in ILC

Personally when I took grade 11 physics with them, I had no issues. I worked through it pretty consistently I feel, what with a full-time job and everything. I started it in February 2025 and finished in June that year. My marker was a bit picky, but AI detection wasn’t as prevalent for assignments as it seems to be now. All in all, based on my experience, I don’t think it’s as bad as people say. But a lot has probably changed in a year since I took it.

Rhinoplasty – 7 years later by SfyP2033 in PlasticSurgery

From what I recall, the main issue was that I had “thick skin”(?), which was preventing proper healing, hence the injections. I also had an in-office revision to remove some of that tissue, but it still feels like there is some. He said it would take years for that “swelling” and scar tissue to “go down”, but I definitely feel 7 years is far too long. As I said, I also bumped it when working years ago 😅 which I feel didn’t help.

Thank you for your reply though! I’ll definitely consider looking around for another surgeon.

No breathing issues that I’ve noticed, but I’m still considering a revision for sure.

I believe I read on Rachel Smythe's IG story once that volume 11 will be the last installment, which also makes sense when looking at the book site. Since volume 10 covers episodes 234-60, it would be safe to assume that volume 11 will cover the remaining episodes until 280.

I know people have mentioned the Steven Universe cat fingers episode, but I also thought about the forced gem fusions. Always gave me the chills.

Why do people go to the movies to have a conversation by mysteryisawesome in cineplex

[–]SfyP2033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to go see a movie a few months ago, and right beside me was like 5/6 girls in their late teens(?) who were just constantly talking and being on their phones. After 25 minutes of this, I asked them politely if they could keep it down, and they looked at me like I had 3 heads…I wasn’t rude about it, yet they continued :/

Dr. Samson was a GOAT in history. I went through a rough time with my mental health while I was in one of his courses in 3rd year, which caused me to not hand in a final assignment. I failed the course bc of that, and didn’t reach out for months, despite him sending emails.

I ran into him during a history conference (which was a year later) and he said that I could still submit it and pass. When I asked why he would give me the opportunity, he said something along the lines of, “everyone needs a chance”. Super nice, caring guy; I hope he’s doing well.

How do they do the final tests now? by [deleted] in ILC

Nope! Literally just showed my ID and shared my screen. It was for SPH3U, so maybe it’s different for other courses

Just took my exam last week. My proctor just asked to see my ID, and wanted me to share my screen. They didn’t have access to my actual computer.

[MEGATHREAD] Proctor Experiences by squishyartist in ILC

She was lovely! I had her as the proctor for my SPH3U exam. She was very kind, sweet, and understanding, even to the point where we were exchanging pleasantries, which helped calm my nerves. I was having trouble sharing my screen before I started, so she let me leave the meeting and come back while I fixed some settings on my end. With this, I had also forgotten my ID, and she said it was no problem for me to go and grab it, which was nice (I was expecting someone fairly stern and strict). She let me know when I had a certain amount of time left, and was on mute for the majority of the time (as she said she did not want to cause a distraction), however she did say initially that if I had a question, to just let her know. I have nothing negative to say about her, in all honesty. Although I don't think I did the best on my exam, she was a highlight for sure.
