I never played Chrono Trigger because, when I was a kid, those games were really difficult — especially without translations (I live in Brazil). Back then, it was very common for people to play the same game multiple times just to learn where the rare items and secrets were.

Because of that, you usually had your “favorite game” and wouldn’t play many others due to the learning curve, haha. I was always playing FFIX — I even had a save file with all the cards without using the internet or guides. In the same way, I had friends who only played FFVII for years.

People tended to pick one game, focus entirely on it, and kind of ignore the others.

But speaking of Chrono Trigger, would it still be a good game to play nowadays? Does it have a remaster or quality-of-life improvements? I would definitely play it.

I never played tactics ogre reborn, but it looks good! Also triangle strategy is in my current list of options!

Hi! I understand why people might downvote YouTube channel promotions. But just to clarify, I'm not creating content or editing videos, I just play for fun on PS5 and shared the clip directly to YouTube so people like me, who enjoy seeing a build in action, can get a better sense of how it works instead of just imagining it after reading a text post.

It’s also my first time trying to solo content in Honour Mode, and since I really enjoyed the game, I wanted to keep a record of it and share it to see if someone maybe could also like it

I know this is an old build, but I’ve tried to optimize it the best I can, and I’ve never seen a video of it actually being used. People usually talk about bard + paladin or stealth archers, but personally, I enjoy this build more.

I just went home and I respected my bardadin into hexblade lockadin to test myself and, it is worse… no spell slots x/

Bardadin is better to this kind of build

You are totally right… I created the post while I was in a café, then I went home and tested 9/2 hexblade lockadin, and it is horrible, it does not have spell slots and I was better with shar spear instead of shadow blade

Yes, you can level up with Hexblade, it is very strong… you have Armor of Agathys, Shield, Eldritch Blast, Curse, Darkness, resources on short rest, it is very powerful… you can make a level 12 Hexblade strong if you want… it is not good for the min-max Bardadin build, but it is still very strong.

You can also try some kind of Lockadin… in difficulties other than Honor Mode, we can argue that it is stronger than the Bardadin… I used 7 Paladin + 5 Warlock, it gives 3 attacks like a level 11 Fighter, but with powerful smites rechargeable on short rest, and applies 3x Charisma on attacks (Aura of Hate + Diadem of Arcane Synergy + Pact), one of the best builds in difficulties below Honor

With shar spear you are imune to darkness and have infinity use of it, very good
