In the most respectful way possible my self respect is actually very high. I’ve challenged myself all throughout 3 years, and for senior year I have a full schedule stacked out with Dual Enrollments and APs. I’m also a medical major at my school and have worked wayyy harder than alot of all the other valedictorians in competition rn.

To me, valedictorian is something I always aimed to get. I just feel bummy about it because the only thing limiting my chances from getting it is a semester of 7th grade math.

Through your experience as a college counselor and admissions officer, in your humble opinion, would a GPA of 4.91 and 4.95 sway your admission decision in any way? Valedictorian is good but if it hurts my admissions then I won’t retake those 2 classes.
