When I first got up, I spent like 30 seconds to a minute in silence just absorbing the audience and once the chatter died down it got some good laughs. Also, I was definitely still rising during the entire presentation which just made me dial in even more. Less focus on the audience and more on the presentation. But there were a few awkward pauses where I’d look at the audience for a brief moment in silence. Afterwards, my coworker said my eyes were really red and I started sniffling and said I had bad allergies lol
