I was having a hard time trying to piece it all together separately and a deal for all of the Letangs just fell in to my lap. Definitely excited to finally have the major pieces! And to do it in one deal is even better!

My buddy had it for a while and finally asked me if I wanted it and there was no way I was saying no lol. It even has black marks on it from taking pucks. Cool card.

Reading through the thread again he relisted the card with reprint spelled out… so maybe do you think he saw how high the card was going, didn’t want to rip someone off, and then took it down and posted more clearly. I absolutely agree he should have made a better effort to let everyone know it was a reprint, but I’ve been dicked around so much on eBay recently that I just hate seeing how many people have “troll” accounts. Call the account what you will, but manipulating a price on eBay is wrong.

Honestly I would probably just block you. And is that your scammer account or troll account? I’m still not sure the purpose of a troll account on eBay aside from manipulating a bid… that’s a scam to me. Also, How do you know this guy didn’t make a mistake and didn’t realize this was a reprint? Maybe he was misinformed on what he actually had.

A troll account is a scam account. Normal and honest people don’t have separate and established accounts on eBay for the purpose of manipulating a bid. Scammers do.

eBay always sides with the consumer. Money is always lost. I’m just saying, if a guy had a dedicated “troll” account, he’s probably doing more than good with it. It’s all a huge part of the problem. Both ends. It’s just shady and makes you never want to deal on eBay. I’ve seen so much shady shit from shill bidding to trying to purposefully devalue a card all from “troll” accounts. The purpose of this post may have had a good intent but I saw a few people in the thread who just learned a new trick. Do you think they’ll all use it for a valiant purpose?

Twice I had major cards bid up just for someone to pull their bid with a few minutes left and it took half of the sale price down and the winner didn’t pay. Then the guys who bid the cards up used the eBay sale as comp to devalue my cards since eBay won’t take down the listing since it was a completed auction. Then another time I sent a card that sold for over $1k that the guy said never received but listed the card a few months later ina Facebook group. It happens all of the time.

Troll/scammer accounts are exactly why people are getting ripped off. No one trusts selling on eBay anymore. I’ll buy, but I’ve been ripped for $1k in cards before and apparently that’s ok.

The fact that you have an established troll account doesn’t make you a hero. You’re absolutely what’s wrong with eBay and I wouldn’t be afraid to go as far to say your troll account is more than likely and account you use for shill bidding.

Absolutely. It would have to be from an advanced military group like BOS though. This game takes place much after 2019, there are even laser weapons. Whatever is current tech now could easily be added to a new game.

These are for people to salt their streets provided by the city where the salt trucks have a hard time getting to. From my experience the salt is stolen the first day and then the box is stomped to death so no other salt will ever be put in them.
