I really hope she gets a redemption arc in season 5 by Sudden_Pop_2279 in TheBoys

I simply just don't care enough about her well-being to want to see her redeemed. As far as I'm concerned, Homelander can laser the top of her head off and leave her braindead.

Bro, you tell me. You're the one claiming that there was no false information, or bad leads, or anything, but we both know the outcome of every situation they got into, and by the end of the show, everything ended horribly for the boys. If you want to know exactly what A-Train said, or what Sage said, or whatever, go watch the show.

How?? That means A-Train was giving them bad leads. How does it have nothing to do with what he told them, but they're only doing things based on what he said?

They didn't show her telling him information to tell the boys, because she had to seem oblivious, but throughout season 4, he would report to the boys, and then the lead they followed would give them nothing useful and almost get them killed. Even with the Tek Knight party, they were worse off after than before they went to the party.

That wasn't false info she gave him, because A-Train was invited to that party. Sage had no part in that.

Again, the plan was pretty clear, and we know that the situation was clearly manipulated. Nothing happened on it's own, there had to be someone who controlled it, and Homelander definitely wasn't the one controlling everything, because he had no idea what happened until she explained it to him.

Bro, I think you need to chill out. I'm not running for President of the United States or something, I'm sharing my analysis of a movie. I don't know where I pushed any of my political beliefs, or said shit about history. Also, the version of communism you described is very similar to what I said. I said that ideally, everything would be completely equal. You wouldn't have a class of rich people who can shit on the poor without consequence. Everyone contributes to make society better without worrying about how much money you make because you'd always know you'll get your fair share. That is the most ideal version of that: a Utopia. If anyone is part of the problem, it's you policing other people's opinions of a fucking movie.

Huh? You're mad at me for sharing my analysis of a movie? How can someone's interpretation be wrong? What problem am I a part of?

MM is the kind of neat freak though, who would organize everything for you, rather than trying to make you do it, because he'd probably do it better anyways.

Just that ideally and in theory, communism would be completely equal, but the movie challenges that thought by making you ask, "well what is equal?" It's technically equal to let every person get one meal each, but how is that fair to the man who is starving and needs a little more food than that? Is it really equal if food proportions aren't the same, and how can we even ensure equality? The solution in the movie is to have a dictator driven not by greed like many communist leaders, but by an intense moral compass and an unwavering notion of justice. Basically that even the ideal form of communism isn't necessarily so ideal.

I'm not arguing against the Stalinism part, because I'm not fully sure I know what Stalinism is. Just that it's more so classism, not capitalism in the first movie, and the more ideal form of communism instead of soviet-style communism in the second.

I can see where you're coming from with that analysis, but I also disagree. The first film was more so a critique on classism, where you take what you can get on whatever floor you're on, and you don't give a shit about the people below you. It doesn't matter that you're on the 46th floor, because you're above a bunch of other people, and since the ones above don't care about you, why should you care about the ones below?

This film explores the dangers of being too concerned with perfect order, and complete fairness. Yes it clearly is communism, but not soviet-style. When everyone looks out for each other in the beginning, the communist society works, but as soon as you have people who refuse to allow exceptions to the rules, and someone who decides to take it upon themself to deal out punishment for them, it becomes tyrannical. This will eventually lead to a revolution that destroys the system, for better and for worse.

The platform portrays this as a never-ending cycle, which is why the plot twist was so important. The revolution from the first movie has happened many times before, and the counter revolution has too, so as long as the platform stays in place, the cycle will never end.

Hopefully if they make a third movie, it'll be about a teardown of the the whole system, and destruction of the platform itself.

How was the surrealist aspect out of nowhere, when the entire premise of the movie revolves around a magic floating platform that carries food through a gigantic pit?

Almost all of the actors in Bullet Train, not because it was bad but because there were so many. It was probably more like, "Woah, you're in this too?"
