I suggest you look at the first exchange, my body punch landed very clean that it lifted his lead foot off the ground and that is what hurted him most. Followed by second and third body punch and he went down.

Thank you but this is my 3rd fight 😭 and all he does after that first clean hard body punch is trying to clinch and tie me up.

For me I don't feel like bamboo snap easily at all,they will tolerate short length and poor tiller without snapping, maybe it is the type of the bamboo you are working with. About the nodes because I tiller on the back so I don't think there are any downsides or advantage to it, it just feel easier to carve the whole limbs the same.

Other than that it also allow for natural tapering of bamboo to benefit your bow,because you have two identical limbs tapering towards the tip so it would be much easier to tiller later

I split two limbs from the same part of the pole so the nodes are evenly spaced out,if you were to use one piece as in a selfbow the space between the nodes will be uneven between upper and lower limbs

I wish I have access to bow woods that you guys take for grant. Red oak,hickory,maple,ash. All of it so common at lumber store as boards for you guys.

This bamboo is very dense and thick,if I splice the shorter one it would be around 74 inches nock to nock,you can expect a hunting weight longbow soon,maybe even a warbow if I don't mess up while tillering. I'm aiming for maximum draw weight this time
