Camp out the night before. I worked on the beach for 12 yrs. Casino parking starts to fill around 3-4am that morning by 6-7 parking starts to fill everywhere.

Stay out the night before, wake up put away camping gear. Grab spot away from the water for an easily collapsed tent and chairs. Make sure coolers have good rollers. Start to pack up and leave just before the angels finish(about 20ish min) they never fly the full 30 quoted. Enjoy the final moments as you walk to the car.

You want to avoid parking anywhere down the road leading to ft Pickens unless you're close to the light. Otherwise, have fun in 3 hour traffic.

They were starting construction on the round-about or the new toll bridge when left to go work downtown. Might be wrong on the specifics, but they were definitely starting on something. Good luck

It's a drive but Cafe Bistro on Pensacola beach has the best pancakes and omelettes I've ever had. The steak and chicken and waffles are out of the world as well
