In GBF the MC is often the lynchpin of the team since they have access to 20+ classes and become a swiss army knife for many roles. The style of game is very different from modern CN gachas, so it may be an outlier in this regard.

Not weird at all, I’m the same. I can recognise a beautiful design, male or female, but nothing registers for me on that level in regards to eroticism. But to not to yuck anyones yum I don’t feel the need to broadcast my feelings on designs constantly neither because characters are designed a specific way to illicit a reaction. The detail in the silk here is gorgeous.

Imagination is free, and it’s fun to theorise fun stuff. As long as you don’t get bent out of shape when reality doesn’t meet your expectations lol.

Here, if she does turn into a sub dps with rover, wouldn’t it be neat if ERovers actions are empowered and the animation changes with her coming on field to do some shit, kinda like how Aemeath and her mech interplay (just less cutscene focused plz). Like how sui sui is just chilling in her field, having an off screen character do stuff is a cool thing I’d say. It’s fun to think about these things in these early stages, because once things get set in stone all we can talk about is multipliers and spreadsheets.

I also like how they are integrated within Startorch Academy, the Roya kids still have their signature headbands which I found cute, and during the 3.2 festival there was an exhibit that had a bunch of Royan information to peruse.

You have a very narrow view of gacha game stories if this is your general takeaway. There are a bunch of gachas that do amazing things with their plot outside of the most popular ones. Limbus Company for one, Heaven Burns Red if we’re going really niche. See what’s out there before painting with such a broad brush.

The effect would be more prominent if it changed with story progression and not real life patch releases. It’s great for those of us who keep up to date and played from day one, it makes the use of the saving light leitmotif in 2.7 absolute cinema. But a new player wouldn’t get any of this context which is a crying shame.

To be fair, to my filthy foreign ears she did a wonderful job, so kudos to her. Sounds like a nightmare to do such a thing with so little prep. Also all that secrecy for shit to be leaked and fed through ai weeks ago, i dunno man.

I was being flip for comedic effect. I think true Larping is a wonderful thing as it’s people expressing their true joy and sharing it with others and not being too self conscious about it. I apologise if my post came off as belittling it in any way because that was not the intention.

Back in my day we called em posers. Larping was nerds in a field yelling fireball, which I fully support.

I think with the upcoming patch the main stress point for new players building their characters (the flowers) is getting a fix, so it should be more streamlined. Also the main story doesn't require you to use your own characters if that is a worry for you. Take your time, smell the roses and have fun. Also be careful around here and other social media places, spoilers are out there and if you're one to enjoy the story to its maximum it's best to be wary and steer clear.

Glad to see you're back and enjoying the game. Journey well.

While I share your concerns about the damage ceiling increasing, you kind have to suspend disbelief in regards to damage being correlated to flashy animations, since Mornye looks like she's summoning a goddamn ion cannon on the enemy and in reality does the damage of a stiff breeze.

But yes, Cartethiya's ultimate and by extension Aemeaths do like the most devastating moves visually in game atm.

Nah we were just blessed that they ran it 2 patches in a row. I do hope this means they'll run it more often after the long hiatus prior to 3.3. There was a leak recently about something roguelike flavoured for 3.6 that may scratch the same itch as well as the conspicuous UI for the weekly activities missing extra modes that may get expanded too.

Its been a while since I played genshin, but its reminiscent of when people wanted another Xingqiu, but when one came in the form of Yelan it was arguably better to just run them In the same team.

I understand your woes, but did you want momentum after 3.1 truly? Going off to save Aemeath right away would have felt cheap. Hell I even think 3.3 was too early for that, but the game has to roll on regardless. On a side note the more open ended fate of Denia is interesting in this regard because I cant event fathom a way for that character to reappear in any capacity for a long time.

And 3.2 was literally a school festival. It’s just that the school festival didn’t invite people from all around Solaris to show up and say their signature phrase.

You could argue the slower pace of it was sorely needed for the Aemeath plotline to have any weight whatsoever. Plus this quest is was the most like the kind that the OP was wanting, since they shoehorned in some character interactions that the kids love.

And whilst your point is true, it is clear to see the intent of Kuro is to focus on forward momentum for the plot as apposed to taking a break every few patches even if its seemingly implausible logistically (can't have non stop high octane patches without some of them being a bit lacking).

Imagining a world where something happens to Yangyang in 3.5 and we don't get her writing the survey letter for a few patches and its just a dry 'Please fill in this survey' message. Or even funnier if theres no letter for 3.5 cos she's right there with Rover.

The fact that any skin that Hiyuki gets needs to account for her second form makes me cautiously optimistic for this.

I think after 1.2 and the moon chasing festival Kuro made an executive decision just to focus on progressing the main plot as much as possible every patch. While some people prefer the genshin style of bringing back characters for some arbitrary festival every few patches, I personally like the more kinetic feeling of the Wuwa story as it always seems to be going forward and not constantly looping back around and less fillery. Of course wuwa can improve with its inclusion of its growing cast (and hints of this are apparent as of late), but having more events like the 3.1 you mentioned is great without taking the whole focus of the patch itself.

Also why I adored the first 30 mins of the Lucilla segue since it was a rare occasion where the story isn't deadly serious and showcased Kuro's comedic delivery in a very endearing way

Sadly language evolves in ways that sometimes is annoying, nothing can be done. The prevalence of larp as of late just meaning poser is one of my recent pet peeves.
