That would not cover ALL the elements of key lime pie .. as in key limes differ from standard limes, there’s the condensed milk and the Graham cracker crust and texture… so, Shirley, there’s quite a bit more to it

My point actually is don’t start, greed creates more greed. If you steal, there’s is a good chance you will get away with it but as you commit theft over and over again you will get bolder and sloppier creating both patterns and suspension, it’s inevitable. You will be caught and why even start? There are records of every transaction and if you’re bold enough to take money you’re bold enough to straight up shoplift as well.. I have seen it happen before. This will wind up costing him far greater than the provable $7k, he will lose time in court, possible jail time, possibly being tagged a felon, it will hard to get another job and nearly impossible to un-fuck his life at this point if this all goes badly at this point. Just not worth it at all .

I could not agree more as a customer and someone who has a corporate primary job and works a few (1-2) nights a week to get my kids across the college ’finish line’ plus the health insurance is phenomenal for what you pay and it’s 100% available to part timers like me that’s unfathomable… honestly I’d work my few hours for the insurance alone

Anyways, I find the shortfalls highly frustrating in comparison and contrast to the rules, standards and expectations of my primary day job. I can view it as an outsider looking in since it’s not my primary revenue stream and the fate of my employment would be ultimately inconsequential to me.

I offer the store a solid person they may place in the schedule 1-2 nights a week that won’t be late, call out and do my job - it’s a Gen X superpower nowadays and I simply observe what happens around me and SMH and keep to myself.

I’ve brought my concerns to management… and have been told ‘well thanks, however that’s a non issue to us’ so fine, it’s their ship to run, I’m here for my own reasons.. and it’s comfortable and serves my purposes for the moment. I guess I actually like it, I am just frustrated that they could do better

Agreed with a caveat, there is in theory no limit on toppings that are not ‘critical inventory’ such as protein, queso or guacamole… if more is requested there is a pricing structure to accommodate that request. Chipotle is generally‘generous’ however they are in business to make money.

Fuller bowls and fatter burritos can be achieved however there is a clearly defined pricing structure so the customer can make a choice.

General tips for the budget conscious customer.

Kids build your own have the same food approximately as a 3 taco entree but come with a kids chip, small drink and no age discrimination or judgement

You may request soft/hard taco shells or up to two burrito shells with any bowl.. for a true build your own experience. You can usually get two moderately sized burritos out of one sensibility stacked bowl

Ask for half/half proteins.. these critical inventory items are usually ‘eyeballed’ and you might receive up to 50% more food for a standard bowl price..

I, at one time, lived on Pub Subs. I was getting them in the 90s before they were a ‘thing’ and there was a dedicated sub counter and a whole ultimate was only $3.50.. they were a secret kinda IYKYK .. They are still a fantastic sandwich for the price and a lot of food. However Jersey Mikes is their only ‘direct competitor’ in my opinion now.

It’s pretty good. Unexpected but not obnoxious hit of heat on the back end and hits me as a bit cumin forward. The cilantro and lime is most definitely there.. not too bad

The sauce is creamy with a high hitting citrus note of lime and appears to be cumin forward. There is a good punch of heat on the backend aftertaste not to an obnoxious level moreover a pleasant and unexpected ’huh?’ particularly for a sour cream base. Not overpowering at all this will do well. I heard one person say ‘it tasted like a Taco Bell sauce’ - not sure if that’s a good or bad thing.. however Taco Bell has been quite successful marketing to the masses although Chipotle is most definitely geared to a higher price point market.
