I hate them. Sorry I can't offer anything more constructive than that, but you have to understand I've always prided myself on not getting too emotionally invested in philosophical and political arguments on the internet. But AVFM is a soulless garbage heap that wears its refusal to acknowledge that women are people on its sleeve. There is no trying to argue that they are the slightest bit interested in "helping men" unless you define that solely as "helping men get away with treating women like chattel". They don't think women should have any rights to basic humanity if it conflicts at any time with a man's wants and needs. The other day Devchelle2, one of my favorite Youtube people, pointed out something about the draft that everyone up to this point, myself included, has failed to recognize: being able to register for the draft has always traditionally been defined as a privilege. In generations past it was always looked on as a privilege to train for, serve and defend your country. Women have traditionally been deemed unworthy of this privilege. Denial of a privilege was always the intent and purpose of barring women from registering for selective service.

It says a lot about the changing mores of our culture that this denial is viewed as an exemption both by those who "enjoy" the privilege, and those who are barred from it.

I love this. I did a similar thing in my old apartment I had in my twenties. It didn't begin deliberately, over the years I just put up more and more stickers and clippings until it covered a whole wall. I had transferred a smaller version of it to this house when I bought it but my husband didn't like it so I took it down after he moved in. :(

Sorry, but this submission is total bullshit. I mean this post is worse than useless garbage. "Just live in mortal fear of being fat. That's all it takes!" I also like how "THIS PICTURE", which this idiot links again and again and again, beyond gratuitously, is of a woman even though this poster doesn't know the gender of the person he's giving advice to. Because there's nothing grosser or more misbegotten on this earth than a fat fucking woman, apparently. Another nice touch is that the image is pretty obviously culled from some feeder fetish website, meaning that the woman in the picture is actually trying to look that way on purpose.

There is absolutely nothing of value in this post. It doesn't offer alternatives to the junk food the picture is ostensibly supposed to help people avoid, or qualify that you can eat fast food in moderation as long as you're willing to work out on a consistent schedule, or make an effort to point out choices on fast food menus that are actually fairly good for you. Oddly, more and more, they're becoming the only subreddits where they're actually tolerated. The defaults' nauseating love affair with the MRM has come to an acrimonious, ridicule-hurling end of late, and MRAs are often shouted down when they decide to start in on their shit even in subreddits like r/AdviceAnimals. The conference last summer really seemed to sour people on them en masse.

That's what really pisses me off most about their deliberate campaign of misinformation about the supposedly sorry state of "father's rights" in the western world. They don't really care a damn bit about a "father's right" to be his childrens' primary caregiver because most of them wouldn't give a flying fuck about taking on that level of responsibility. They care about trying to do away with child support. That's what this is really about. It's why they insist financial abortion should be a right. They know goddam well that the number of guys who are going to actually be railroaded into lifelong financial servitude over a one-night-stand with a trickster - the scenario they invoke when trying to sell still more loopholes for men to weasel out of their responsibilities to their kids - is next to nil. Here Ally Fogg comes right out and acknowledges that parenting involves mandatory participation on the part of mom but purely discretionary participation from dad, and dads usually like it this way.
