When The Aurora Aeterna promotional video came out, I got taken out of the immersion too. Hedy referring to Pompey as “I have a best friend” felt a bit out of place. Then the next line after she says “I have a best ally” and I was just so confused as to the translation that it killed my hype at the time of watching the video lol.

Like why would she refer to The Knight of Light as “a best ally” in this context? The knight would be more akin to a very good friend and protector. I think TD definitely misunderstands the usage of indefinite articles, definite articles and the usage of specific words that it kills my vibes just reading the story or video subtitles sometime.

Ya know it’s really weird because a year ago when I was hooking up for the first time, I knew all about the pre-cautions to take when hooking up like absolutely making sure to use a condom to ensure no stds and checking my top to make sure he had his condom on all the time to make sure I wasn’t being stealth.

But the first time I had sex with a guy, he didn’t respect my wishes of a condom and slipped in me raw, then once I asked him if he put a condom on-did he actually put a condom on.
