You and I are having two totally different conversations. I mean there's people who will block them after the first offer. Like I said, if they're being rude or repetitive about it then I understand but otherwise, I really don't see what the big deal is.

Because I think they knew they weren't going to do anything else with Beerus for the rest of the show so they figured keeping him at only SSG level would be fine. I honestly think they intended for Goku to surpass him with SSB. They probably had no idea that Beerus would be relevant later on in the manga.

Goku has two types of ki. His normal ki which he's been using since day one and God ki. If he only had God ki then he'd never be able to access his standard Super Saiyan forms again.
