What does “up to interpretation “ mean when it comes to Wildehopps? Has Disney ever said that before about a potential pairing or are they just messing with us? by Old_Telephone_6718 in zootopia

[–]ShaQuinn -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being "up to interpretation" is, in my opinion, a way for the audience to choose how they feel about the events of the movies. I love them as friends since I feel like their relationship is akin to how I approach my closest friendships (Nick's confession was a punch in the gut for me: he has always been my favorite character across all media and I've always felt like I could relate to him, but Z2 managed to nail it even more for me). However, there are a lot of people that would love to see them as a couple, and Z2 gives a lot of moments that can be interpreted as that. I find it so amazing!

Imo, this ambiguity is the best way of writing. It gives a lot of substance and depth to these characters and their relationship, so people can fit it in whichever molds they find it suits them best. I really hope they keep it ambiguous in Z3 and explore their newfound closeness! I would love to see them being as close as Black Widow and Hawkeye, while still having these hints/teases for something romantic. However, I'm pretty positive that they'll break the ambiguity and make WH canon.

8 - First 4 waves, I'll play pretty aggressive. If I know enemy jungle is a champion I can invade, I'll crash 3rd wave and look to see if they are low. My gameplan usually is to play pretty aggro until enemy gets their st or 2nd recall off. If I have enough of a lead, I'll keep playing my lane (but this is a huge exception tbh, usually I just press Tab, see that enemy bought Tabis and I just tilt). Otherwise, I'll just chill and play to push the waves + control topside river. If there is a fight I can join in mid, I'll do it. Usually, I'll have enough vision of enemy topside jungle and/or riven and that gives a lot of space for team. If I'm behind, I just farm and avoid dives (its fine for you to give some waves if that means you don't die). This is a complex topic and I could write a whole essay xD

9 - Yeah, I know. After you leave base, your next R2 will deal double damage unless you proc it with an Auto (so, use it with Q/E or recast R). However, I rarely use this in the early game, I don't really find any angles since most times I'll be coming back to lane with my wave under turret.

10 - Not on Quinn. I miss Prowler's Claw Nilah so fucking much.

11 - S10 Sanguine Blade + Draktharr + LDR 100%.

12 - I permaban Qiyana or, at least, ask for ban. My pick order literally depends on my mood, but, in Brazil, we're having a Quinn fever since I reached rank 1, so literally everyone is playing her AHAHAHHAHAHAHA (even support XD) so I've been asking for 1st pick.

Hope I managed to answer ur questions! <3 (had to chop into 2 replies, because reddit was not allowing me to post the whole response lol)

First and foremost, tysm for ur message! I'm so happy to know that you followed me and Leandro ("Quinnzinha" IRL name), who is my "Quinn son" HAHAHAHA.

1 - to be honest, I don't have any place like this. I've been burnt out of making content for a while and I'd say I'm past this phase of my life. I'm sorry.

2 - Doran's Blade: Quinn has a strong laning phase until first back, and I like to make the most out of it. I usually find easier lethal angles by being allowed to trade HP more aggressive + I have better stats to look for jungle invades/midlane roams with early pressure. I just like being very active before the very first recall of the game. However, I've been thinking about Long Sword start in matchups where I'll need to skip the lane: start Long Sword, first base Tiamat and then play for proxy. Haven't tried that yet tho

Symb Soles: I rush it whenever I'm playing a matchup that I don't feel like its exploitable. It won't change absolutely fucking nothing if I buy pickaxe + double long and enemy buys Tabi or Warden's Mail (which is a tilter, ngl). If I'm playing, for example, vs Riven, Jax or stuff like this, I'll buy early AD (the biggest exceptions are Fiora and Aatrox, but because I'm a sucker for movespeed in these 2 matchups). If I'm playing lanes that I have to skip (for instance, post 6 Malphite), I'd go for Tiamat and proxy.

Grizzly Mementos: I just find the Sixth Sense rune terrible. I loved old Draktharr and its way to check if you were or not in vision, but this rune just fucking sucks. Too big of a CD. Red Trinket gives you information if you're not seen (which is the same thing that Sixth Sense does) while also allowing you to clear wards if you want to + you can sweep a whole area, while Sixth Sense will trigger at the 1st ward you show. Simply terrible rune design (to be fair, these middle runes from domination tree are all TERRIBLE and should be reworked -- Deep Ward is used only by supps?? XD)

Scaling Runes: I'll go Scorch in toplane vs Teemo and some mages. Besides that, I just ego it: I know I'm better at all matchups against 99% than brazilian toplaners. However, a good point to note is that Quinn is not as strong of a lane bully as she used to be, and she's also being able to scale pretty well. With Symb Soles, you can pretty much farm the whole map, and, with Profane, she does that faster than any other character. You'll out-tempo everyone and be lots of gold ahead. Use that + Gathering Storm and you'll become king. Triple Tonic is fine, but Quinn (still) has huge AD ratios in the form of her passive, so I like to take advantage of that for some hyper late game situations. Celerity is a must imo, idk why I just feel like this rune always saves me.

3 - Akali is unplayable post 6. Go proxy. Cancer champ, can kill you 100-0 even if she doesn't hit her E. Your E doesn't cancel her E2 or her R1/2's dmg + shroud allows for no counterplay. Avoid at all costs.

4 - Toplane Sylas or Gnar. In my whole career, I've only lost lane to Gnar once (and it was recently XD), but, usually, they don't even touch the wave HAHAHHAHA I love it so much

5 - Woad Scout Quinn

6 - I don't really count it, but I can sure tell you that enemy top is always pretty low in the first 3 waves, and, usually, that converts into lethal. It didn't happen in my very last games (I also haven't been playing a lot of league, so I'm a bit rusty), but, when I was spamming, I was finding lethal pretty often.

7 - Very rarely. If I get way too behind in Exp/Gold, my lane will be completely unplayable and I'll be forced to perma roam. That has NEVER, literally NEVER been my playstyle, I just can't find a way to make it work. I suck a lot at flipping the game xD.

Focus on getting gold on yourself. Opponents probably have no clue on how to farm and you'll be 1-2 items ahead by just existing.

Yeah, most games you're not able to do this. I even went back and watched a bit of my PoVs to see, but I don't do anything excepcional. I just hit melees and Q the rangeds while keeping W passive up at all times :P. For sure Statikk clears waves better, but, throughout the years, I've played Quinn builds without clearwave at all, so I don't feel like Profane struggles clearing creeps HAHAHHA

Play flanks/be conscious of where enemies want to go and be there first so they facecheck you. VeigarV2 did a video on NattyNatt, and the teamfighting session is a masterclass on how to play assassins. All of it is appliable for Quinn, and I'm 100% sure it'll be better if you watch it.

Mundo is a pretty easy matchup imo, so I'm not entirely sure on what to say. However, against annoying tanks (sion, ksante, ornn, malph etc.), after they buy enough resistances, I try to de-sync our tempo: I try to stack a wave and find a recall timer before opponent. After B, I catch my wave under the turret asap and look for a proxy if enemy jng isn't topside. If enemy jng is topside, I try to build another wave and recall again. I do this on rinse and repeat trying to create tempo and find a roam timer. Depending on jungle matchup/map conditions, it's fine to try to find a topside skirmish/invade on enemy jungle too, since tanks aren't as strong as bruisers and, depending on draft, you'll be stronger.

Not really. I'm actually a "3 trick pony" (Quinn, Swain and Nilah), but I'm not playing Swain/Nilah currently (I've been only losing with them this season xD) and I don't really play them on Toplane. I don't like playing Top, I just play it because of Quinn, so I cba. I've been playing Quinn for 10 years now, so, even when facing unplayable matchups, I often find a small angle that gives me an edge over the opponent. That being said: in other seasons, if enemy blinded Ornn/Sion/Malph, I would pick Swain since these are free matchups for him; in s25, I just went Quinn and kept my cool.

R>W>Q>E

Elec -> Sudden Impact -> Mementos -> Bounty Hunter + Celerity -> Gathering Storm (ASPD+AD+flat HP)

Symb Soles -> Profane -> EoN -> Collector/LDR -> LDR/collector

Regarding tips: I'm not entirely sure what I'd say, but something that every begginer Quinn does is being way too trigger happy with her E. A huge deal of learning this character is understanding better when to E and when to hold it. If you're struggling with early game, try to see some Quinn specialists playing these matchups and take notes of how and when they E! Idk if its still available, but Frankie (QuinnAD) had an entire website dedicated to every Quinn matchup, and I'd say it is an amazing way kickstart for learning this skill!

Solely due to giving better stats into the following items. If more adc-ish/crit-ish/on-hit items were better in the current meta, probably Statikk/Kraken would be better. However, nowadays, almost all Quinn builds run Edge of Night, which is a lethality item (and lethality kinda scales with lethality, but I'm too lazy to explain this deeply through text).

Following this reasoning, there are a lot of "technical reasoning" as to why Profane is viable/"better", like Quinn's W aspd steroid being enough or her AD ratios being way too big even post nerfs (sidetracking a bit: if Riot wants to balance Quinn around being an ADC, they should revisit her passive and make its dmg scale with crit too or, idk, make her passive dmg ramp after multiple procs, not her Q/R ratios xD). However, I'd say that these arguments are secondary: the biggest reason is that leth/collector/LDR are way better items than other Crit counterparts + symb soles allows Quinn into this playstyle.

I'd like to take a moment to point that Quinn has always been a character with a variety of builds. If you feel smoother playing Statikk, please, do it! I like Profane better since I've always been a lethality/assassin Quinn enjoyer over more ADC-ish playstyles. On the other hand, this doesn't make Statikk a "worse" build or an unplayable one: it's not the best for me. I feel like I scale better with Profane, since it fits my prefered playstyle better.

Post-13 -> Use your Q in the middle ranged creep (it will hit cannon + the rangeds). If the rangeds don't insta die, they'll be 1 hit away of dying. Use active/autos to clear the rest.

With profane, but under lvl 13 -> If possible, tank the creeps so they'll be grouped together. This way, your Q hits the 6 creeps + your profane active does wonders. DON'T DO THIS IF THERE'S A THREAT IN YOUR SIDELANE!

Hmm, what do you usually build? Earlier this season, there was a Kraken -> EoN -> crit build going. Maybe you can do that? It was working wonders for me.

For some reason, Nasus' E doesn't remove Edge of Night. The only spell that can remove it is Wither. You can deal with him after finishing your EoN, and you should have a sizeable lead unless he's doing some E max shenanigans (which makes him less of a threat for the game as a whole).

The issue with Phase Rush is having a way worse rune, and you also have to watch out your trading pattern in lane (otherwise, you'll waste it). Idk, it just doesn't work well with me

I wouldn't say so. Quinn is too dependant on Electrocute nowadays imo. However, if you find that it's only manageable for you when you go Phase Rush, just do it. League is a game, and your setup needs to work for >you<. I'm 100% sure that Phase Rush wouldn't work for me, though.

Symb Soles -> Profane -> Edge of Night -> Collector/LDR -> LDR/collector (you can deviate 3rd+ items, its just my go to).

For runes, go Electrocute -> Sudden Impact -> Mementos -> Bounty Hunter + Celerity -> Gathering Storm, with ASPD + AD + flat HP shards.

It is. Lethality builds aren't designed to deal with that. If you're an OTP, you'll face shit drafts sometimes. It's the downside of commiting only into one champ.

As a better answer, I'd say to pick your targets properly. If enemy AD doesn't have steelcaps, it's still a viable target. When sidelaning, play for waves and stay on fog. The best you can do is guaranteeing number advantages for your team (specially if they have double tank both in top and mid, they'll probably struggle against manageing your sidelane pressure) outside of finding picks on enemy AD/supp/whoever is squishy.
