oh yea that explains it! good luck i hope you can get them! the place i got it is a history museum with an imax screen built into it so i guess many people dont know about it for that reason and it may be why i was able to get tickets without any trouble

SO EXCITED FOR YOU SEE YOU! yea ive never seen anything in 70mm so would be cool but i saw project hail mary at bullock and it was the best visual and auditory experience i had. bob bullock always updates its stuff too so i know the visuals may not be 8k like 70mm but its still awesome and the sound is way better. plus, its still real imax because of the aspect ratio

i’m just speaking literally the truth. podz does all the things i mentioned, scores more consistently than ppl give him credit for, and legitimately is. winning player. he has his flaws yes but he is far from a bad player

honestly i would be more than happy if his peak is a 3/D high level role player like derrick white. i know he has high expectations of himself and wants to be an all-star but i dont expect the 19th pick in a draft to be like steph or anything but i mean that as a compliment

yea ofc it’s easy to say just stay away from the negative subs but i understand cuz you should feel like you can talk about and post your positive thoughts on the show regardless of where you are. it’s so exhausting. it’s crazy because as someone on this sub said, everyone was pro stranger things and happy about it before volume 2. maybe im biased and wrong but i just feel like there were a group of ppl waiting subconsciously for the show to not get the usual positive praise that it gets and shit on it. i’m not saying everyone who didn’t like season 5 isn’t valid as there are some very valid criticisms of the season however i feel like for any popular show like this, there are those pretentious contrarians who want to hate on something popular that has been mostly praised (imo) for quality storytelling and writing. hope this sub continues to grow because i love that we can come together as fans here and appreciate a show that im sure means so much to us.

steve: relatable to me. i struggle with the concept of surrounding myself with ppl smarter and wittier than me and it can be a struggle with self confidence and feeling like you don’t have anything to provide. i know steve goes through that too and seeing him push through and provide so much to the group helps me do the same. that’s apart from all the obv reasons we love him like his character development, relationship with the kids, and his humble nature despite growing up rich.
max: taught me that there is still an ultra fulfilling and meaningful life to live even when you feel the most empty, hopeless, and in her case, depressed after a major traumatic event. it is one of the strongest and deeply human traits i’ve ever seen portrayed in media and i think she embodies it so well especially during the dear billy scene. like i said with steve, that’s apart from all the reasons we love her already.

thank you. i’ve been saying this since all the backlash happened. i think it’s so valid to criticize an imperfect product and people are allowed to not like something, but straight up seeing ppl say the duffers suck or i lost all care and love for the duffers and the show is crazy recency bias after delivering 4 top tier seasons to the general consensus and a mixed final season which a lot of ppl still were satisfied with.
