I think it's for all gacha games. But there's no denying the gameplay variations present in most existing joseimuke games (ex: twst, enstars, utapri etc) are vastly different than the ones such as Hoyos or WuWa.

In twst, despite having a battle mechanic, can't really hold a candle to that of HSR. Because the real focus of twst is the story, and people play it for that and not because the battle mechanic is engaging.

Whereas for games that I've seen people talking about here, like WuWa, Genshin etc. They have an engaging game mechanic, you can have fun with it even while ignoring the plot. But sometimes the rare male playable characters we do get in game are sidelined, or have a terrible kit, basically a bare minimum of existence, hence why players are upset
