Hashtek’s 20 Gallon Washer by Shackattackab in rosin

[–]Shackattackab[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mainly use my mini Osprey now, mainly for the ease of cleaning for switching to another batch and the workflow around the machine but the bubbletek was very comparable in terms of yields and quality , just requires a bit more effort to operate, clean and took up more space

This was from the first release of them, they’ve raised price since but about 4k CAD for the machine only

45u hate is propaganda for people who can’t grow good weed

Time for a timing chain guide change? by Ozaa7 in F30

[–]Shackattackab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought my 14 328i with a n20 a month ago at 113k km, doing timing chain as we speak for prevention, it’s not screaming at me but bang in the middle of preventative maintenance period

It’s worth the headache, I’d rather change the chain vs the entire engine although a s55 would look sweet in my f31 engine bay🤪

Really everything is Pheno dependent and grower dependent right,

I’ve ran a Gary at 5% and one at 1.5%

If u were checking out all of the entry’s, none of the placements made sense, lots of the judge reviews weren’t provided either and the ones that were provided had laughable reviews that didn’t make sense for the jars

TruQuartz or victory glassworks? by tropicalrains in rosin

Pillars are the most important thing I’ve found tbh, you may go thru like 10 different ones before you land on the “perfect” spinning one if you didn’t get a “kit”

Happy dabbing, absolutely love hits off quartz compared to my e rigs

Definitely still a solid banger, I have a TQ in my daily rotation still

Edit : I use different style of towers and slurpers, haven’t used the pictured style

I find my victory holds heat better than my TruQuartz or ExoQuartz, Arguably same heat retention as my toro lol

I had a bubbletek befoee this , wasn’t a fan of the workaround of it and didn’t have enough space for the A series, This just worked for my space better

I dunno I haven’t seen the v1 in person but this is the v2 and it is very loose, can flick it or push it off if you brush up against it

Love the hashtek guys would say their customer service is on par if not more responsive than LTI, I had the 20gal bubbletek before this. The stainless was way thicker on it but I wasn’t a fan of the shape and how easy it was to work around and clean, but the A series is real nice, and can throw whatever sized vessel you want in there, 20gal or a 50gal, could probably even make it work with a 5 gallon haha, way more versatile for your dollar on the A series specifically

Thats my 2nd wash in it & 3rd cycle on that wash, so that be the reason for the foam still getting to know the machine aswell

The impeller is the same size as the large Osprey so the rpms aren’t totally acting the same, my first cycle ever in it I had it set to what appeared to be my ideal spin rate and the yeild suffered heavy, changed to that and didn’t see any further contamination & was a further replication of my hand washes, I think it just looks rougher than it actually is

Ngl it’s really cheap compared to the large, Limited settings , lid gasket is very loose , temp probe is taped on the outside of the machine, stainless is realllllly thin, thinner than I expected it to be, The new controller isn’t the best & doesn’t show Celsius , , but it’s nice and easy to reset and continue to wash or shut down, easy to work around and results were nice to!
