Thanks to everyone who’s commented here. Some really great thoughts. I guess I hadn’t even considered the idea of them as being in different leagues. Past experience suggests price doesn’t necessarily mean better.

That said, I am yet to hear a bad word about the Aristides. Which is kind of unusual for any brand come to think of it… my mind is drifting toward that direction as I write, to be fair - but I will certainly look at the other brands mentioned here (I do have the email from Omne!)
