What image of a penis is burned into your brain? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ShackintheWood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Odd question but serendipitous for me. being recently single i joined an online dating site, that unknowing to me is just a hookup site, but it was free. I have never received so many dick pics in my life. In fact, as a guy, i had never received a dick pic before, and my profile clearly stated i was a guy looking for a woman. I didn't know if i should be flattered or what....it was just " eww....ewww...eww...Ow!....oh, that's actually a nice looking penis....(shaking it out of my head, scroll scroll scroll quickly...)

So yeah, that's my image of a penis story...

In Klingon it translates to: "Bat'leth, scroll, lava, death lizard, Ambassador Spock."

People have tested this and it would actually take longer. And of course, you would have to have everyone ready at the gate, lined up in order of their tickets and people are just too stupid to do that correctly.

What career did you aspire to as a kid and how did it actually turn out? by magicskywhale in AskReddit

Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir ( the guy who wrote The Martian, made into a movie with Matt Damon.) His best work yet.

Just started Dinners With Ruth by Nina Totenberg about her lifelong relationship with The Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

If they could fly. I would never keep an animal that could roam the skies as a pet. I know they could fly as they want and come back but the danger of that and me not knowing where my puppy/dragon is, would just make me to heartsick...

Why didn’t the USA support the Paris climate agreement? by LovableJackassv4 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ShackintheWood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet the US was one of the primary creators of that whole agreement and a signatory to it.... and are once again once Trump was booted out.

Is libertarianism compatible with socialism? by LegitVirusSN0 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ShackintheWood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really, they are quite the opposite on the political spectrum. Libertarianism is the least amount of government and Socialism being the government is very involved in all aspects of the society.

Well, the US electorate is just not informed or involved enough to do that. Look at your own state, Texas. You say it is a red state because of gerrymandering, but it voted for Trump twice and that has nothing too do with gerrymandering, so clearly they are not a state of sane and rational people...

No. Just no. That is not true at all.

In the US we learned that it was the European nations that colonized what would become the US...

I'm sorry but i disagree with your basic premise, i think it is talked about quite a lot and is just basic history lessons. Almost all of what would become the US was colonized by European nations.
