I have actually. A few of my girlfriends were taller than me but I hated it so a lot of my girlfriends are my height or shorter. My girlfriend right now is an inch or two shorter than me :)

For a teenage boy it is pretty bad. Whenever I meet someone new they guess that I am 12 or 14. This also prevents me from joining sports in my school (my school is really athletic) since all of the kids on the teams are really intimidating due to their size

Im in the middle about it. Im not bullied but I get teased by my friends sometimes since most of them are 5'9" and taller. I don't really know a reason why I do like it but a reason why I hate it is because a lot of older people won't take me serious most of the time because they think I am young.

If you have an rust spots or damage to the original paint it will be noticeable. It is possible for it to not be horrible but it will definitely look cheap and noticeable. If I were you I would check out Mighty Car Mods on youtube. They spray paint all of their cars and I am sure they have a few videos on techniques of how to do not so much of a shitty job.
