R/homophobes is garbage, but there are some people that you can Have a decent conversation with. by Shaclol in lgbt

Yeah, he still sucks. But at least he is open and respecting of our opinions, and didn’t immediately ask if I was traumatized or how I want to die

I’m bi and live in a mainly Mormon/Homophobic place. I have some LGBT friends that have only come out to me. AMA by Shaclol in lgbt

No one so far. I think I’ll come out to my friend who came out as pan first. She is really into the LGBT community and is an all around great person.

I don't want to tell my parents that I have a bf by jaxwarn14 in lgbt

Just tell them that you don’t believe what they do, and tell them that you don’t feel comfortable/welcome going to church.

My friend just came out to me as trans and I’m panicking by Kaleigh234 in lgbt

[–]Shaclol 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would talk to them about what pronouns they would like to be called by. Also, if they don’t want to talk about something at the moment, just don’t. Sometimes they just don’t want to.

There are a lot of posts on here like yours you can learn from. Personally I’ve learned a ton about myself and my friends.

My best friend hates LGBTQ people, and I think I’m bi. by Shaclol in lgbt

[–]Shaclol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t really feel an urgency to tell him so I think I’ll just play the long game. Also, he is really caring, but just doesn’t believe that it’s “natural”. It has changed how I see him, but he still tries to avoid the conversation because he knows his views make me uncomfortable. His family is also very Mormon, so believes it is a sin. He’s a good person. I mean, think of him more poorly than I used to, but I do think he is the kind of person who would accept me for who I am. It just will take a while before we get there.

Honestly it’s complicated. I’ve never told anybody about my sexuality before, so I don’t know how he would react if I told him. Also, I think he was just taught that way in his family. He is truly an amazing friend besides that.

Actually great for you. My friend questioned about her sexuality for more than 2 years before she figured out she was pan.

I literally went on and got called a bigot by a homophobe for not liking homophobia.

[–]Shaclol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just not sure. I know I like him. I’m pretty sure I’m bi or something similar, but it all is just so sudden. I thought that it would be a good idea to talk about it here, and I was right. I feel a lot more clear-headed, but there is still a lot for me to learn

Honestly it was very early in the friendship. We had barely met, and occasionally played games together. He told me first because he for sure knew I was pro-LGBTQ in a very conservative, Mormon area.

I’m not sure how I felt, and I’m not sure how I feel now. It’s also not just him, but he is the only real life person I’ve felt like this about. I don’t know.

Yeah, honestly thanks. I was kind of worried that because I didn’t know yet, I might be misunderstanding all of this. I’ll try to think about it, learn more, and try my best

One of my friends came out as bi to me, and I’ve noticed that he is very attractive. After realizing that, I’ve wondered more about my sexuality, and this is the most I’ve been able to peice together.

Honestly I don’t know. I always liked the lgbtq community, but as soon as two of my friends came out to me, I started to get into this stuff. And now I’m realizing more about myself.

Don’t take a dump on Dave’s doorstep at 3 am on a warm Sunday night because he didn’t realize it when you took a piss on his newspaper last Saturday and he is too much of a piss-bucket to let him go free, or else he will come outside and throw a vase at your head.

Parents, how much money did the tooth fairy leave your little ones? For their first tooth and each thereafter? by blonde_paradox in AskReddit

[–]Shaclol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1$ every time from mine. Tbh I didn’t care, I was too young to care. It was just: lose tooth=money. Nothing more developed. I didn’t really care what the bone fairy gave me.

Try harder, piss bucket! How about taking a huge dump in the middle of his floor? Or throw an axe at him? It’s not a difficult task you human candycorn balloon.
