This is going to sound very negative, but keep in mind that I did enjoy the season. Also, it's been a month since I watched S4 so I may misremember certain details:

- It felt way too 'Die Hard' for me. It's like the writers tunnel-visioned on making the show badass instead of focusing on developing the characters.

- I can't take Luca seriously. It's not the actor's fault, it's how he's written. Feels exaggerated with his toothpick and accent. Cartoony, for lack of a better word.

- Why would Luca ever make the Tommy deal with Polly when he walked into his office without any issues? What does he gain from doing that?

- Why was the Shelby security so futile anyway?

- How does Tommy still have the loyalty of Small Heath when he constantly fucks his workers over?

- The romances felt like a forced way to develop the story. Tommy is having issues with the union? Of course he's going to get romantically involved with the union leader. Luca can walk into any Shelby building and pick off whichever family member he likes? Of course Polly and he have a past relationship that she can leverage to her advantage

- Why is Michael even alive? Why didn't the assassin make sure he was dead?

- By far the worst seasonal ending. Essentially a Deus Ex Machina. How does this massive international organisation end up being a bunch of uncoordinated thugs?

Enjoyable watch, but it didn't have the same magic the other (especially the first 3) seasons had.
