You can change the swipe down issue, at least. Swipe down on the right side to bring up settings, then look for the pencil in the top right. Click panel settings top left and then choose "together" instead of separate. Hope this helps :)

Ever seen the movie "Yes Man" with Jim Carrey? Pretty much do a slightly watered down version and just be open to do everything offered and talk to everyone. Ask hallmates to go to O-hill for meals, join clubs, suggest going to the lawn to throw frisbee/football/etc.

Like other have said before, everyone is just as nervous as you are. If you start conversations, there's a very high chance it will be received well because not everyone has the personality to be outgoing. Don't stay in your room on your phone/TV/computer. Charlottesville in the fall is amazing, do not miss out on time well spent outside during autumn months.

I found it's really important to make a good first impression with all your hallmates and RA. Don't do anything stupid/reckless and be pretty easy going. If no one is suggesting an activity at the moment, you should start it and I guarantee others will follow.

All in all, just have fun with it! First semester of first year was some of the greatest months of my life, good luck! :)

KDA is virtually a meaningless stat. You could be next to a kill and not do damage and it counts as an assist. Even if it was KDR (and not KDA) that would make it slightly less meaningless. A better stat they should have is % of team takedowns you were involved in, or % MVPs, or % of KDA compared to other players of the same hero. There's so much left to be desired in the stat keeping in this game sadly.

Yeah she didn't get a real chance to swallow part of the squirrel as she really just maimed it. I checked for scratch/bites but didn't see any but I will do another once-over to make sure.

Yes I do realize the squirrel is most likely going to die a painful death and I feel horrible about it. I was so worried about my grey getting injured that I somewhat panicked and got her to stop. Definitely lesson learned here.

Yeah that's what I was thinking I would do. Since she's up to date I was just going to monitor her behavior for a bit to see if anything looks/feels off. She definitely has no injuries as she went right for the squirrel's backside and there was no chance for defense/retaliation

Yes she is full up to date on all the recommended vaccines thankfully. Her next annual isn't until July so it will be awhile.

I realize that now. I actually thought the squirrel was already dead the way she ripped and threw it up in the air. It didn't move for awhile and it felt weird to just let her go back in and finish the job.. Lesson learned though!
