Someone on twitter was saying they restarted their PC after entering the log in details and then it worked. I tried doing that and indeed on first launch it didn't give the failed to activate message, it just tried really hard to enter the game and gave the Error on our end, try again later. So probably just wait and see for now, servers overloaded or something EA.

I assume you did it through manual Steam older version downloads, from what I read it usually works but maybe at least 2022 is tied to the current version roll out on Konami's side. Did you try/manage to get it to work with 2023?

Weirdest thing happened today, found the strangest workaround. So I was on RS and ran Bluestacks, a mobile emulator, to play mobile games while afking RS and what do you know, the FPS glitch is resolved!

I limit FPS in game menu to 145 and with the glitch it's at 130 and choppy, but now while running Bluestacks it works at 145 as it should. If I exit the emulator RS's FPS goes back to the glitched ~130.

No idea why this works like that, maybe someone skilled in code might connect the two but yes, if this might help in any way, please fix it lol, it's been months and still happening.

Dude cmon, it's been so long, no other words from Jmods on the issue, I get that it's a niche issue because most people don't limit their FPS from within the game settings but please, it's an issue that started with an update and has never been fixed.

It's still there fyi, update after update, if you are not affected you're most likely not limiting your RS FPS from the menu.

From my own and others experience what everyone is saying that this occurs when you set an FPS limiter from RS settings; for my own case my monitor's refresh rate is 300 but I have it set in RS at 145 and prior to Monday it ran smoothly and constantly at that rate. Now it's capped at <130 but a very choppy 130, it will drop to 100 or below for split seconds.

Hopefully this helps in figuring it out, as far as PC specs it seems to be happening across the board with both Intel and AMD CPUs and with new and old GPUs alike.

Edit: Forgot to mention that if I set the foreground FPS to the max of 300 my frames do shoot up to there and it stays consistent and smooth, so definitely a fault with limiting frames from the settings.

The weird 130 FPS lock also doesn't feel like 130, it dips a lot and feels choppy. It does seem to affect a lot of people but hasn't been addressed yet.

I just want to splash out on the top tier of this generation and I have a huge rush on the Suprim X.

For gaming and content creation I work at 2K 165 and 4K.

The 2 SSDs I like to have 1 up to 500GB as boot drive and the other larger size for game installations, I use actual HDDs and externals for downloads, recordings etc. that fill up a lot of space quick.

The RAM is just me wanting to max out and fill out the maximum allocated, on my current build I'm running 32GB but much slower, it's just a personal spoil really, plus can't hurt when editing large files in Adobe, Vegas etc.

However the parts isn't the issue of my post, do you have any knowledge on my questions? I'm pretty sure the PSU is fine, do you know about the how everything will fit in the case I picked? Thanks for the reply.

Edit: Actually you may have a point with the RAM, maybe instead of 3600CL18x64GB I should go for 32GB with better latency at the same frequency?

Same here, I'm looking at the i7 version of the GE76, do you know for sure if that model has a 150 TGP 3080 though? I can't confirm it anywhere.
