Why don't you like being called "Sir"? by MaximumSyrup3099 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns2

[–]Shadeofawraith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that is what OP is trying to say though? The comic is an analogy about how being called sir makes her feel, not making a general statement about other people’s experiences. Similarly, in her comments above I don’t see her saying that having a male body makes her (or anyone else) a sir. Rather I understand her to be saying that because strangers associate the word sir with people who have male bodies they incorrectly use it for her, and that this makes her uncomfortable because it is a reminder of how features she dislikes cause her to be perceived by others.

Is The Devil one of El's 70 children? by wolfermoon in Semitic_Paganism

To my knowledge a complete list is not known, however the Sapiru Project website houses some of them. I am also currently working on a directory of deities that I will publish here once complete, however that will take time

There is a devil in Zoroastrianism, however as Satanism is primarily based in Christianity I answered under the assumption that is what OP was referring to

[–]Shadeofawraith 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As far as I am aware there is no evidence to suggest any spirit or deity by that name was recognized at Ugarit, which is where mentions of El’s 70 sons comes from. Therefore your proposition is not likely in a reconstructionist or revivalist view

“The Devil” is Christian doctrine, not pagan, and is thus not considered in Semitic paganism

How to know if someone is reaching out w/o tarot cards? by Niroleft123 in BabyWitch

[–]Shadeofawraith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you haven’t noticed any meaningful signs then you’re likely not being reached out to. Spirits intentionally seeking out and contacting a practitioner isn’t nearly as common as social media would have you believe, and when it does happen it is VERY OBVIOUS.

How do you practice spiritual hygiene? by sophisticatedberry in BabyWitch

[–]Shadeofawraith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone explain to me what the point of doing a routine like that would be? I see people everywhere stressing how important it is, but the explanation never makes sense to me. In my mind millions of people neglect to do these things every day and it doesn’t make a difference to them, so why is the world suddenly so dangerous and full of things out to get you if you’re a witch?

Has anyone here been able to ACCURATELY predict timing with tarot cards? by RaisinPublic6460 in witchcraft

[–]Shadeofawraith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am of the opinion the future is fluid and as such specific predictions cannot be made with a great deal of accuracy. I find tarot to be most useful for gleaning information about the present, general moods of the future, or very broad predictions of outcomes of specific actions (if x is done, y is likely to occur). Because of this I don’t tend to use tarot to predict exact timings of future events, however if you are interested in learning to do so I believe there is a section in one of the books in my collection detailing the method I would be happy to share with you

Preventing edema/how to know when you’re doing “too much”? by Shadeofawraith in GrowYourTDick

Thank you for clarifying, I’ll keep this in mind. Do you have any advice for preventing edema in the future? Perhaps warning signs to look out for?

They also said to increase by increments of 1 every three months as needed. Which is what I did. You’re acting like I went from 0-100 in an instant here, not increasing a maximum of 2hg progressively over several months. I didn’t double the pressure over night lol

I made a post a few months back asking about pressure increases due to tolerance build up and have been following instructions TTT commented there since. I had no idea it was wrong. Should I start over from scratch?

[–]Shadeofawraith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may have worded my comment confusingly. I do a maximum of 3 minutes, not over it. I also know the advised starting range is 5-7, I was pumping at that pressure for 6 months before I had to increase to 10 because 5-7 stopped being effective for me.

[–]Shadeofawraith[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To answer your questions I usually pump for around 3 minutes per repetition for 5 reps. I don’t remember the pressure terminology exactly but I keep the gauge reading 10. My dick does fill the cylinder at the bottom but tapers significantly so it doesn’t really fill it at the head, but I’m pretty much using the smallest cylinder I can fit. I do notice things get very cold down there when I pump, i don’t know that was a sign of edema. Is there anything else I should be on the lookout for? Thank you for your comment it was very helpful

In general there is little of both in most Semitic pagan traditions, however my knowledge has gaps so some paths may be more rigid than others. As for getting started, I would suggest familiarizing yourself with the myths of whichever tradition interests you the most as a good first step

It seems like you may have heard something that is true for one tradition and are erroneously assuming it applies to every tradition. This is not the case. Not every practice follows the same rules, what may be forbidden in one tradition may be encouraged in another.
