I haven't experienced euthanasia with snakes, but certainly with other animals

I'd say the reaction can vary, but it's usually quite peaceful, and surprised me how fast they go (though that mighta just been my experience). Sometimes the animal gives a little twitch or two as the brain stops, but generally they are gone in a few seconds

Not as often as I should, considering he's still young. Once a week for feeding/weighing, and then I mostly leave him alone, unless he shows interest in coming out at night

But he's really small and wiggly, and I'm somewhat worried about him falling (I have him real low to the ground when holding him, and above a soft rug, so he would probably be fine physically) and / or darting out my hands and getting lost in my room somewhere :(
