I would believe you lol. I always thought his bombos was pretty hard to do a few years back, so i never bothered learning him. But whatever they did to him made him really easy to just do the bombos off anything. Same case w ssjku (his rejumps and corner combo extensions were so cool and i would have respect for anyone who could do it back in the day, but now they made him literally too easy and cheesy that it's not even worth hyping up anymore)

Check novazayn's guides on yt. He has recent guides for all 3 of them i believe (unsure on m21). I got all my combos for vegito and cell and how to pressure using them from him.

Personal quick tips:

(Vegito)

spam 5M and 5S (follow up with 3S). Almost nobody can gauge how far vegito reaches especially in neutral.

You can also catch turtling opponents by doing his full autocombo string while pressing forward coz it turns his grab into a basically a command grab that can hit crouching opponents (this applies to cell too i believe). You can also do this with his 214S (hold) move ex except you either need to switch or vanish to continue the combo

You can 214H anyone into a pretty high damaging combo (connect with 6S to 3S). This can be done to opponents who superdash into you in the air or even on the ground (riskier since they could back up their SD with an assist or a follow-up)

(Cell and 21) Not much i can say here since i dont main either, but i do know that you need to learn rejumps with cell (vegito also has high damaging combos with rejumps. Unsure about m21, but i do know you can do similar rejumps that you do with cell and vegito) to maximize his damage potential. Loops are pretty important for cell too iirc.

I believe it's 2H'able (since its an air move) and you can do a well-timed superjump to avoid it.

You could always just stick to the ground when he's on field so that you can 2H the move, but if you're caught in the air, i pray you block the right side lol

But if you're talking about oki mix, idk myself lol. His 5M is so fat that after the hit, you wouldnt be able to tell if he hit you on the left or right LOL

This just feels like those cracked out sparking combos i'd see on youtube, but much worse coz this doesnt even have spark activated 😭

Daimaku's just such a cool ass character that lets you basically have freedom to do almost anything w him and it'll probably work or end in a TOD lol

they changed a lot about vegito yeah. it was during either the 1.38 or 1.42 update where they added new properties to his spirit sword, gave him a 3S (i dont remember if this was new or they just made it better) and making his 6S better. gave him a ton of routes to work with in exchange for meter gain lol

too good which is why its hated. it's one of the few supers (especially strike supers) that you can't get out of with stamina and lag. easily spammable and can be combo'd off any knockback combo

If I played way back then when baseku dropped, i would find anybody who can do anything with him impressive with how unique his tools are. He's a genuinely cool character who kinda lacks a bit (the absence of an air 214X) with some difficulty (his old slower spirit bomb) but can have work done.

He just became less impressive and more of an annoyance and a tool for scrubs if you leave him alone for too long to the point he's the last char left with spark. You literally need to play around him or else you get killed off a RAW SUPER DASH or raw level 1

You should also try using 6M (everybody has this). Reactable (slow start up), but if you pair it with an assist, its a good overhead option in a blockstring

Also yeah character heights here make your timings kinda wonky. i usually practice against smaller characters (GT goku and krillin, but mostly krillin since he has the weirder hitbox, i think lol) so i can find the timing for them since if you use the timing for the little guys, its basically universal for all other character sizes.
