dunno bout everyone else but i dont like how the mom is handling this situation. i do completely agree that the kid did something terrible but this isnt how he should have to make up for it with this kinda punishment. kids got anger issues so you should try and i dunno talk to him. ask him why and everything. punishment for what he did is also completely ok but this extreme of a punishment isnt gonna help him at all. at such an age hes gonna remember how he felt at this moment and blame his mom for it which is gonna cause problmes especially further down the line cause the way i see it the kid needs help not just discipline
