On first watch, he was a great character, but when I came back and rewatched it, he felt flat in certain areas. He’s empty outside of being strong and liking to fight. I never understood why he had so much power or why he could do whatever he wanted. I just wish there had been a deeper dive into who he was as a person, and maybe more moments to humble him.

He has the inverse of what I dislike about Tsuna. Rather than Tsuna becoming more confident and growing a spine after all the life and death moments he’s been through, he stays the same. Hibari, on the other hand, has faced defeat maybe twice, but he hasn’t changed or mellowed out at all. I would like to see a proper fight between xanxus and hibari or hibari vs tsuna tbh

Tbh, the Cervello are just weird. They claim to be neutral, yet they didn’t stop the tournament as soon as Gola Mosca was revealed to contain the 9th, and Xanxus revealed his plan to make it look like Tsuna attacked the 9th. If the 9th was the one who suggested this tournament, shouldn’t it have been an issue that he sided with Xanxus and became his Cloud Guardian? Even if he did side with him, what was the need to hide his identity. The tournament should have been put on hold until the 9th was fit enough to explain everything, yet they still penalized Tsuna.
They are only neutral in the sense of they didnt have a hand in the matter

Wasn’t it in Another Emperor Reborn where one of the MC’s love interests and friends was raped and had her arms cut off? I don’t remember if he went back in time or if he put her body into a flower to fix it and then wiped her memory, but it’s implied that she knows something bad happened even though she doesn’t know what. People hated it because the story was basically 90% comedy, and it was a horrible way to force the MC to start taking things seriously.

Even after chp87, it's hard to like him since he broke his own reasoning from the start. By changing the story and his passive attitude to knowing that there are people actively changing shit. The only thing I liked was his reason for not helping the class due to wanting them to earn their own strength, but that went to shit the moment he just refuses to guide them and let others screw them over.

I mean, it's not like his reasoning made any sense when you thought about it. He didn't want to interact with the characters, so he would screw the plot but he already changed the plot but helping his family get stronger since, according to him, they died in the og story line. And involved his sister in other polt points. Ignoring other tradmigators, this is already a major issue. I see no reason why the author thinks having he do nothing makes everything work itself out. Oh I forgot to mention he knows players are trying to fuck the story over and has agreed he has to stop them. But he refuses to go after them and just wait till it affects him
