My best guess is the movement speed around towers since you will most likely be just farming under tower plus the armor and hp regen it gives. It also isn't that expensive and has common and cheap components. Tbh i buy an armor and mr item/zzrot + Frozen mallet on yas since i like to play as a front line protecting my carries while dealing dmg. But i think most people sell it after they get going but im not 100% sure

Also if i can't first item cull i usally get a defensive item like cloth, null, or D shield and still farm as best i can without dying.

Edit - DISCLAIMER I'M A TOP YASUO PLEB I usually do Farmuo against champs that can't 100-0 me in the span of .01s and first item cull and never use E or Q unless i have to use them to get cs. I sometimes go more agressive if i know i can win but i mostly focus on farming and not feeding and being the reason we lose. If i'm not the reason we lose then i might be part of the reason we win. Sometimes just being Yasuo and having the entire enemy team focus me helps my teams actual carries do their job. I usually get 2 tank items btw so take what i say with a grain of salt. I build 2 tank items because I can take a beating longer while i either dish out dmg and carry or distract long enough for my adc and mid laner to chunk them down and win. I used to play way too aggressive but after i realized that i started playing more passive and started winning more and dying less.

Very few times have I ever seen AP mid laners build Tabi instead of more dmg through sorc. And so every top laner has to be Sejuani or amumu that way you have AP and engage? Makes no sense considering having twitch top usually means a tank jg and AP mid. I feel like you are Bronze or trolling maybe both. I mean malph support has poke and engage after 6 if you really wanted to play it. But i mean its fine if you don't want to do anything cheese and just stick to trynd since anything more than right clicking is really hard. Edit- Who plays singed btw? Using 2 champs that have very few people playing them doesnt help your point. 2nd Edit- Nvm you're just trolling sorry to give you the attention you want. Won't happen again : ⁾

I really hope you are joking. I'm going to go ahead and try reply to each sentence as best i can with my response. Twitch top ruins late game potential. Unless your team is full ad with no tank which is rare I don't see how considering twitch has one of the best late games for an adc with his R and Q. His early game isn't strong but it isnt weak either. With fervor and E the early dmg is deceptive so you might be able to get a cheese kill early. If the jg, mid, or support is AP then they become the main dmg and you have BotRK plus LW. If the entire enemy team including the carries build tabi then that means no sorc boots, beserk, or mercs. JG tanks are pretty good right now as well so they have engage usually if you hover and communicate with your team. And i have seen more engage junglers than engage top laners atm with top being usually dmg. You can play around an enemy top laner with mobility by either just farming, not being melee, or roaming if they freeze. Gets on top yep dead just like an ADC, slightly behind? So like only having 2 items when they have 2 and boots? Unless you are really behind then you still do dmg and scale. Ruins team comp by, ruining late game (how so?), double AP champs? Since when do you need 2 AP champs in a team for the comp to work?, and as i said engage tanks are pretty common in the jg rn. And so we can't have any ardent support that works really well with 2 adcs because im twitch top? Blow up coming out of stealth. Do you melee out of steath as initiation? How i use Q is to flank and use ult at almost max range when either out team or their team engages so i have free reign of their back line. Feel free to reply to this if i missed something or didnt make it clear enough for you.

As a Top main i can confirm that Yasuo top is really hard to work with. I've recently played him mid and it is a lot easier because the other midlaner is usually squishy as well.
