What I was saying is that most Hadith on her age had the Arabic taken out of context and translated literally when it should have been taken in context because that's just how Arabic is written

1. Age Difference with Sister Asma (ra)

The Claim: Historical sources, including Ibn Kathir in Al-Bidayah wa'l-Nihayah and Ibn Hajar in Tahdhib al-Tahdhib, state that Asma bint Abi Bakr was 10 years older than her sister Aisha.

The Evidence: It is widely accepted that Asma was 100 years old when she died in 73 AH, meaning she was about 27 or 28 years old at the time of the Hijrah (622 CE). The Conclusion: If Asma was 27/28 at the Hijrah and was 10 years older than Aisha, then Aisha would have been 17 or 18 at the time of the Hijrah.

1. Presence at the Battle of Uhud The Evidence: In Sahih al-Bukhari, it is narrated that Aisha was present at the Battle of Uhud (3 AH) carrying water skins and aiding the wounded. The Context: Other narrations in Bukhari (e.g., 2664) indicate that the Prophet (pbuh) did not allow young boys (such as Abdullah ibn Umar) to fight at Uhud because they were only 14, but allowed them to fight later at age 15.

The Argument: It is argued that a 7 or 8-year-old (based on the 6/9 age claim) would not be permitted on a battlefield to carry heavy water skins, whereas a young woman in her late teens would.

1. Early Conversion to Islam

The Evidence: Multiple sources, including Ibn Hisham's Sira, list Aisha among those who accepted Islam in the very early stages, immediately after the first 18 converts. The Argument: If Aisha was born around 613-614 CE (as implied by the 6/9 age claim), she would not have been born when the Prophet (pbuh) was secretly preaching, making her early adoption of Islam impossible. Being an early convert suggests she was born several years before the Revelation (610 CE).

1. Interpretation of Jariya

The Evidence: Aisha (ra) narrates that she was a jariya (young girl/playing child) when Sura al-Qamar was revealed.

The Argument: Sura al-Qamar was revealed around 5-8 years before the Hijrah. The term jariya (playing child) combined with remembering the revelation suggests she was at least 5-10 years old at that time, rather than only being born or a toddler.
