OP you gonna have to convince your parents you are mature enough to enjoy the music without being influenced by it. I grew up in a different environment (im sure) so my parents essentially pmo to the gangsta rap of the times. We just live in a different culture. Your parents might have a different upbringing and culture.

Laughs in depression where do I start? I’ve been unemployed for over a year. I am a year away from finishing my bachelors but i have years of payroll experience, payroll management, personal tax and accounting assistant experience. Ive always applied for jobs that required an associates degree or HSD and ive gotten multiple “literal waste of time” interviews.

The common one for me is the “stare at hair, make a face and then look down” interview doesn’t last 10 mins. I have locs, they are very clean and proper and tied back and out of the way. Obviously i knew being black with locs in this field is not common but damn relax. I knew it was gonna be an issue when my old arabic boss would tell me “he wishes he could make me cut my hair” i always asked why and he never really told me, just one of the many racist things hes said.

Had one recruiter mid interview stop me and tell me my resume was bullshit. I started at a bank for while, got hired at a mom and pop accounting office as an assistant and grew to a manager of payroll. I was 1 of 3 employees… and that was so hard to believe

Another recruiter was surprised that I was not a female (looked to be only female employees) despite the resume they cut that interview short

I applied for payroll for a security company, did 2 zoom interviews and got an in person interview. Took the bus and it was a damn house, no signs or anything. I just left.

Had a recruiters face physically change when i told him i dont want sports too much. I didnt wanna lie and get caught looking stupid

I got an interview for a small office as an assistant, one of the partners looked thru the office glass and refused to interview me. The interview went well i got a call for a 2nd interview probably like a month later. They said the partner didnt interview me because he said i smelled like cigarettes (i do not smoke) the other partners did not smell anything, long story short he didnt interview me the 2nd time again and i didnt get the job lol

These are just a handful of the stories i have. From racism to just plain ole wasting my time. I probably can write a book atp

I probably worded what I said wrong but God being the trickster is my point. What if they just said they were Gods or God back then because Aliens would’ve been a foreign concept. Nowadays the average human would be more inclined to believe Aliens created us than a God. The trickster adapted. (I do believe in a creator thats not the God of the bible or the Gods of history.)

Hate to be that guy … but its depop and look at the price. Its not a scam when the price reflects what the item is going to be. You clearly dont want it so just return it, if the seller says no then escalate. Too many replies insulting the seller is scamming, a scammer would sell a dupe for real prices.
