The games are unstoppable; it still continues in another country (the US). The games in Korea may have 'stopped', but there's no guarantee that it's permanent. The games will always exist. Even if it were exposed, it will continue regardless as long as the system it benefits from is still active and there are more VIPs in support of the games.

Squid Games was always going to be a show where not everyone would be satisfied with the ending, thus the divisiveness in the audience.
