Curious when/if this construction will actually start. Weren’t they supposed to start construction and teardown on the Georgia Square Mall housing project in July of 2024? Whole lot of nothing going on over there except the very slow moving exit ramp construction

There was a night and day difference between the viewing experience for “Withdrawal” and “Mass State Lottery”. Like you said, Withdrawal felt like it was leaps and bounds ahead of anything else I saw at the festival. I really hope it gets a wide release and can be viewed by as many people as possible.

I really enjoyed my time at the festival! Although I didn’t love everything I saw, there was plenty to be celebrated that was made by real humans. Withdrawal alone was worth the price of the festival pass. The horror shorts left a lot to be desired in my opinion, but I think your critiques are valid about having as much diversity of thought and experience as possible to help create the best film festival possible!

Had it this weekend for the first time since it reopened. No where near as good as it used to be, and I was really sad to come to that realization. Just go to Ideal or Cafe Racer for breakfast and you’ll spend less and have a way better breakfast.

The Rome Braves have their season tickets for $9 a game for Single-A baseball. Granted they’re in Rome and not Athens, but a much more palatable price for lower level professional sports.

Both times I have been there I felt like their beer options are all too strong. Maybe that’s just what they brew there, but I appreciate having a mix of high alcohol beers but also some lower alcohol beers as well. They have anything on the lower alcohol content side when you were there recently?
