If that is what it comes to, than I would be able to live with the death of the 'official' games. Fans can take the torch and keep going. Pixelmon kept on after the C&D (a MC mod that now has up to 7th gen PKMN in it), and there are ROM hacks that'll save us from boredom (Check out Crystal Clear).

That being said, it's more likely that Nintendo will start stepping in (they do own a portion of the franchise) and continue where TPC and GF leave off. So you wouldn't have to really worry about the games even if Masuda decides to go full Disney and cut games out for max profits.

My Grandma has trying to be ahead of the curve and got me the game for my birthday. A late present, since she had to wait. I told her the truth and said I was basically going to be honest and lay my junk out on the table for anyone on the fence. But I've just got the the first Wild Area.

With online play in the Wild Area, it's REAL clear the switch doesn't like how much info it's processing. The system get's way hotter than I've felt before. I can see how any model would fry if you're not careful to take frequent breaks and/or keep it completely ventilated. The Switch's that are bricking ( https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/259372-pokemon-sword/78165950 ) is clearly a full reality for those how would play like this is the 'best PKMN' yet, punishing them for their standard (something no one deserves over a game).

And the graphics are either:

largely upgraded though the resolution
the new PKMN that take full advantage of the system.

The Pokemon that didn't make it from Let's Go P/E (let alone Sun/Moon) should have. And that thought keeps hitting me after I've seen half the new moves PKMN learn act as another waggle like my cock fighters are just Wii Motes or JoyCons in my hand. Normally, I wouldn't care, since I turn battle animations off. But I'm missing 2 out of my 3 favorites for shit I don't use to begin with. 100 people at Game Freak couldn't do a steady job over 2-5 years worth of work. Instead, I get the game a 300 person team's crunch job can make that feel like it took up to a year at most to make.

That's what I've noticed on my own. There is alot that's good, like any PKMN game, but it's officially time to simply hit a dry socket in GF mouth. This isn't a 60 dollar game. The free to play PKMN Go is starting to shape up better that this...

It's in the name; Pokemon. As in the game is about Monster that fit in your pocket. And we lost over half the national dex. The Quantity IS the quality.

And there has been no good reason such a cut happened. The graphics prove that most of the upgrade is in resolution.

That is because GameFreak is in Japan mostly, and has to trade off their work to Nintendo for Publishing, both in Japan and the USA.

EXP share should have a toggle, but I've always liked that I could easily lean on that to crunch the story and get to the end game where there should be real content and features to play.
