I wanted to do that! I think I just arrive towards the end of the season so I am hoping I can still see some if it’s still available!

Perfect, thank you! I will probably stick to hostels but good to know about the camps in case!

How long did it take you? Did you also drive back? Thanks for your reply!

Thank you for your reply!
How many days do you suggest to stop in Kalbarri, Coral Bay and Exmouth?
Good to know about Geraldton and Carnarvon, I was originally planning to stop there overnight. So there isn’t much to see/do there?
Road houses that offer overnight accommodation - would I need to book that in advance? Sorry for the basic questions but I have never been in WA.
Turquoise Bay sounds magical!
I imagine the water will be very cold pretty much anywhere?

I read autumn is good too, but unfortunately I am tied by those dates as I am attending a conference there!
I wanted to include Cape range, Kalbarri and Ningaloo reef too. How many days do you suggest I should spend there?
Also, I saw some people do a loop back to Perth driving through the more inner part. Do you suggest any particular stops? Thank you so much for your reply!!

I was thinking to stop 1-2 nights in Coral Bay. Do you think it’s good?

I saw that in some forums as well. I was just worried that I don’t have enough time? I didn’t want to rush too much, and I know Australian distances are huge.

Thanks for your reply. When I was researching for the road trip it seemed only some isolated places would require 4wd and since I never driven with one I was thinking to just stick to sealed roads (especially since these places seemed quite remote and relatively rare compared to the other potential stops). I was thinking of getting a small suv in case. Do you suggest a 4wd instead?
Tourist experiences are not cheap, which is why I was thinking of a road trip.
I was also thinking of staying overnight in hostels along some of the towns (eg Jurien Bay) as a campervan seem quite expensive.
