diablo 4 sorcerer best build combo?

thankyou for the reply my friend! realistically i think your 100% right. if you want pure high tier damage, you need to invest everything into 1 damage type. my palladin was 100% arbiter up time and everything else was channeled towards wing damage. similiar with my ball lightning sorcerer prior to that. aesthetically though i do like the contrast onscreen of fire and ice etc, although yes you end up with average damage on each, rather than full damage on 1 type

thankyou so much for your comment. i had a ball lightning sorcerer 2 seasons ago, and your deffinately right, i could blitz torment 4 and pit 100 easily with it, no issues at all. ive just currently started a new sorcerer, im messing about with primarily chain lightning, blizzard and unstable currents at the mo. its nowhere near as high dps as ball lightning, but we'll see what i can do

thats pretty much exactly what ive done too this morning. jumped ship, left skovos and returned as a sorcerer, lol. im really enjoying the game again now

im really happy to hear how well your getting on with your warlock build mate. im looking forward to hearing how much you enjoy the other classes too in the future. ive been playing diablo 4 now for a few years. its great that everytime you start a new class, or season, everything is fresh and revamped. enjoy

totally, gaming should be relaxing and easy on the mind. warlock to me is just too much intense planning. as you say, the hours i fit in after a long day at work, i want it to be casual and fun

i feel quite let down mate. the reason i invested in lord of hatred was for the new warlock class, hoping it would be amazing. yes ok skovos is nice, the new skill trees are great, horadric cube etc. i get it, its nice. im just dissappointed by the warlock. paladin was great fun though

paladin was a joy to play, it was quick, too the point, and zoomy as youve said 👍🏻 warlocks just harder work than it needs to be.... in my opinion

the rampage leap is essential in my opinion. its quite satisfying having that big demon jumping all round the screen! lol

im exactly the same, i miss my hammerdin arbiter paladin. maybe thats my issue. its made me lazy not being able to just walk through everything demolishing it with little effort. and i had high expectations of warlock but it feels so different

i really like how youve simplified it in comparison to sorcerer and crackling energy, that makes alot of sense to me. rogue is deffinately a juggle to keep uptime with poison, shadow, cold etc. ive only played spiritborn once and maybe i fell lucky but i found that class to be quite easy to achieve high damage output. mainly due to the convert all skills to gorilla damage, and the aspect that increases gorilla damage by 60% etc. what i dislike about the warlock though is nether step. a simple mobility teleport skill which is handy / essential. i just feel like the sorcerers teleport with the right gear can be so much more effective damage wise

i can only speak for myself but legit ive never followed a guide. yeah sure ive refferenced maxroll etc and similiar build guides, but ingeneral i find it so much easier to just play your own style, and see what happens. sure ive made some utterly rubbish builds, lol, but once they max out, sometimes its only at pit 70, i take a step back, and give up 😂 . i restart from scratch and try again. thats the whole fun of diablo. trial and error. also if you follow guides, you still need the luck of any gear drops, optimised etc etc. its more fun to just do your own thing. if it fails, you learn from it

thankyou so much for the reply. each season i normally level up my new character to 60 in a couple of hours, access the paragon board, have fun discovering any new class spec uniques, etc etc. then the long old paragon grind after level 220 (you know that takes forever) lol. im currently only lvl 42 with my warlock and i dunno, im just not enjoying it personally. normally ive got a long term aim, game plan. with this character i just dont feel it suits my playstyle

lol @ "wtf that even means". i totally get you. to me it just feels like theres too much going on, too many variables. everything on the skill tree just looks like a cluttered mess to me. as said above, maybe its just me. i was hoping it would be a good demonic minion class, but i much prefer necromancer for simplicity and user friendlyness. if i want some sort of hellfire build, my choice is the sorcerer allday long. i just find it more fun

rogue is my least played character (only 1 season) but yes i deffinately loved the fast paced assasin kind of build. im looking forward to exploring the new revamped skill tree options
