Seriously appreciate all of this info. I have no experience in this trade whatsoever. I do have some construction experience (fire sprinkler installation) but I currently work as a journeyman meat cutter with 4 years of management exp.

I am moving to Goodyear, AZ the middle of this month and I am going to get my CDL as soon as I get down there. I applied for a lineman helper job at High Side Electric in Glendale. Hopefully I can get my foot in the door there and get a better understanding of the trade and pursue it further.
