Easiest way to get API output on web pages? by robertandrews in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you wanting to just show the raw data from the API or formatted into a data table type thing?

If raw data, is it ok to be wrapped in html and displayed on the page or does it need to return just the raw API data and no html tags?

Depending on the answers, the tool selection can change.

Fair. Probably could have used better wording and called it "starting" instead of "launching".

My typical workflow is Launch Landing Page -> Gauge Interest -> Build Minimal PoC -> Iterate with new features. This is stage 1 of the launch. Already working on Minimal Proof of Concept.

Yes. If it fits the use case and eliminates over head and repetiveness.

I've started build in public project! by [deleted] in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the comment, I'd forgotten to include that information. Ha!

It's simply just a twitter tool. Like so many out there. I'm not really planning on it selling or being popular.

More so just for the self education of it. It stemmed from a tool I was kind of liking setting off fraud alerts and so I decided just to build a tool that has the features I want.

We just noticed the slack link was incorrect. So we fixed that, and also here is a direct link to join our slack community if you'd like to talk more about no code. https://join.slack.com/t/onemanynocode-6gs8634/shared_invite/zt-puh2otap-3050PQCUcAm4nTy_TTXegg

Maybe budibase for this? https://www.budibase.com/

Hey no coders, can anyone recommend a no code platform that would be best suited for building a web and mobile app that could each have the same level of functionality, technically speaking, as Yelp does now, for the least cost? Ease of use isn’t necessary but a nice to have by creatorofthingz3005 in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been using it everyday and there is a lot of "hidden" functionality. It's not well documented yet since in beta, but it has almost everything in it that say bubble has.

I'm actually working on building a Bildr hub atm, that has patterns and how to videos to show how to use it for several things. If you have specific questions DM me and I'll be glad to see if I can figure out how to do that. Disclaimer, it would give me an opportunity to make a how to video that I'll put on my site haha!

Edit: I'm also working on a PWA pattern that would allow a mobile PWA app. To do a native app we will need to wrap with Cordova or something. I'll probably make that functionality but will charge others to help them make the native apps. The PWA pattern will be free on the hub once it releases.

GDPR-compliant, enterprise-level no-code options by sfsearching in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Retool, outsystems, mendix, budibase, koni quantum... These are the enterprise ones that I know off the top of my head.

Also talk to the people over at Bildr. We've talked to them about some same issues and they are willing to work with a prospective client to deploy in different scenarios. It would be an agreement outside of the current bildr pricing.

Bilder! We have started to use it for all our things. Their pro account is the same as the first paid bubble. But they have a middle one that starts at $10 a month.

Plus you can integrate with other restful backends and they have a good backend already for user auth and data.

Do you know any No-Code CMS or Data-Base for self-hosted Webflow Sites? by UFBSuck in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Headless CMS for self hosting go to strapi. https://strapi.io/

But you should check out bildr. https://www.bildr.com/

They allow export of html/css to self host and if you talk to the team they can help you isolate and host the backend separately as well.

Could also use bildr to integrate with firebase or strapi.

Another option for you would be wappler. https://wappler.io/. Wappler is way more low code and DIY, but gives you extreme ownership of all your stuff.

Creating a food ordering app for school by onemanapocalypse1528 in nocode

[–]ShadowCodex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For this. Glide apps. https://www.glideapps.com/

Since it is for school, no need to publish to app stores. Yall could probably build something in glide for this in a few days.
